Has the development team released a script to seamlessly upgrade MariaDB yet??
I'm nervous about screwing up my databases by trying to upgrade this manually.

Installation / ERRORS INSTALLING
« on: December 16, 2019, 01:34:14 AM »
These are the steps I take to install:
Fresh install of Centos 7 minimul
install wget
install updates
install mariadb-server mariadb-libs mariadb-client
enable mariadb.service
set root mysql password
then sh cwp-el7-latest
enter my mysql password
CWP installer does its thing but towards the end of the installation I'm promoted multiple times to enter my password..
I enter the mysql password for each prompt
when it's all done I reboot

but when I try to log in to CWP to setup everything else I get this:

Warning: mysqli_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/functions.php on line 0

Warning: mysqli_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'postfix'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/functions.php on line 0

Warning: mysqli_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'postfix'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/admin/admin/index.php on line 0

Warning: mysqli_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/admin/admin/index.php on line 0

Trying to start mysql server, please wait!
Try to restart CentOS Web Panel with command: sh /scripts/restart_cwpsrv

**Check your MySQL root password in: /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/db_conn.php and /root/.my.cnf

Warning: mysqli_error() expects exactly 1 parameter, 0 given in /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/admin/admin/index.php on line 0
Could not connect:

I'm having the same problem. and I just made a post about it, I was thinking it might be something wrong since I just moved everything to new hardware with a fresh install of CWP, now I'm thinking it's CWP itself!

4
I fresh installed cwp on new hardware, created users, created databases and imported from the original, and moved all files to the new hardware.
Root login to cwp works fine, sites are serving fine, but users are getting a 404 error when they try to login to the cwp user panel

the url in the browser changes to this after they enter their user name and password:

https://mysite.com:2083/%7B%22f2a%22:false,%22posts%22:%22//cwp_523b9e5ad7e97495//roberth//%22%7D
(I hid my actual domain)

and the page shows:
404 Not Found
cwpsrv

Any suggestions on how to fix??

I've already ran the rebuild user conf script, the generate hostname ssl script, and rebooted the server.

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: PHP site suddenly not working properly!
« on: June 18, 2019, 03:02:40 AM »
I figured it out! and YES it was caused by a CWP update that added a session save path to the php.ini which my site didn't use and didn't have one defined.  I checked other sites I host and found the same in their php.ini files.

Hey CWP when you do updates and change things to make them compliant with higher php versions a little popup or notification of what might get changed or simply keeping site's ini files the same unless admin changes them!

TY

CentOS 7 Problems / PHP site suddenly not working properly!
« on: June 18, 2019, 02:23:38 AM »
One of my sites has suddenly stopped working properly and I think the latest update to CWP caused it. when users try to log in it just loops back to sign-on
