Hi

I've done that, many times. It continues to re-appear even after installing. That's the entire point of why I opened this thread...

That sounds like a bug then.

Yes I did that, it keeps coming back.

Nginx / running nginx w/o apache
« on: September 20, 2017, 11:49:24 PM »
I notice that Apache is a huge memory hog.

Is there a way to run Nginx using PHP-FPM without apache so I can save on memory?

I have tried that, no resolve.

I upgraded to CWP Pro and installed the Comodo rules, but it's still saying I need to install mod_security through the warning.

Any idea how to fix this?

Nevermind - I ended up restoring a backup to fix it, it's fixed now. Still no idea what caused the issue to begin with.

Installation / suddenly getting "502 bad gateway" for CWP admin panel
« on: September 13, 2017, 04:53:37 AM »
Out of nowhere, I'm suddenly getting "502 bad gateway" on my dashboard when I access domain.com:2030

All the websites work just fine, it's only the server dashboard.

Any ideas what could cause this and how to fix it?

TIA!

Error I get: 502 Bad Gateway

PHP / Re: configured 7.1 the way I like it, how do I set as default?
« on: September 09, 2017, 04:59:17 AM »
This article fixed my issue

http://wiki.centos-webpanel.com/php-version-switcher

I added this to /7.1.ini

[pdo-pgsql]
default=1
option="--with-pdo-pgsql=/usr"
info-file=pdo-pgsql.txt

I needed to add PDO pgsql support to PHP.

SSL / Re: auto generate ssl for dashboard hostname

Ahhh I see it.

I had to use :2031 instead of :2030 when using SSL. Thanks!

PHP / configured 7.1 the way I like it, how do I set as default?
« on: September 08, 2017, 10:19:28 PM »
I configured php 7.1 to be exactly as I want, but I'm unclear how to set it as the default so that it doesn't change any of the config options or parameters.

How would I do that?

SSL / auto generate ssl for dashboard hostname
« on: September 08, 2017, 05:44:13 PM »
Hi

Since the hostname vps.domain.com isn't part of any account, it's not showing up as available to auto-generate an SSL cert, and one was not automatically generated when installing CWP.

How can I successfully generate a letsencrypt SSL cert for the CWP hostname?

Thank you

I ran a port scanner to see which ports were open to the public and found a lot of ports which I'm not familiar with. Is there a way to figure out which ports I can safely close to the public?

MySQL / Re: getting errors when trying to "stop" the mysql service

oh, had no idea.

Would be great to add more of a warning and usage disclaimer to let people know what apps require it to be running.

thanks

Also, these passwords do match in both of those files.
