CentOS 7 Problems / Re: cURL installed
« on: September 21, 2019, 07:16:52 AM »
Yum update wouldn't work if the system structure is specifically requesting the cURL version. CWP needs to update their system to run the updated version.

I would think updating the cURL wouldn't be a question as this version has vulnerabilities.

Is the outdated cURL going to be updated?

Updates / Re: Please do not update my cwp without my consent

PHP is just used as an example. It could be any of the latest upgrades. Since CWP runs using PHP, the php version of the CWP install is quite important. I have been getting updates every day without any issue as reported by many users on many threads. So AUTO-UPDATE of CWP is definitely not a culprit for breaking things in my opinion.

Pretty difficult to know what you're on about. Yes PHP is important but no ones talking about it and no ones talking about an update broke anything, not sure where you came up with that or why you have made an issue of something that's not even an issue. The point is "in case an update can become an issue" "hypothetical" "the unknown"

Not everyone's systems are configured the same so it makes a lot more sense to actually have a choice so server admins don't go to sleep, wake up find out an update happened and it messed up their setup.

If you want to have automated updates then that's should be up to the server admin.

Strange a simple concept of choice raises so much anxiety

My 2 cents, Revert back to php 7.2.18 (for both user and cwp) the most stable php version. I am using this on my production and uptime of my server has crossed 100 days with zero downtime. Experimenting with bleeding edge php can lead to all sorts of unwanted errors for which we all keep on blaming the cwp team. Best way is to get the server stable and not keep on playing with it unless you have a free server to play with.

Where do you see anyone talking about PHP issues? Or PHP causing their control panel any issues?

The request is for the control panel not to be auto updated. When it is, the PHP version the user has selected doesn't change, but the autoupdate can cause problems in various areas of the control panel.

So your comments are not on point with the topic.

When is cURL going to be updated?

You currently have version 7.29.0 of cURL installed. This version is known to have security issues. Please update to the latest cURL and ensure it is greater than 7.35.0.

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / DKIM & SPF Manager not working
« on: March 02, 2018, 07:28:47 AM »
I have a few domains that I am trying to add the DKIM to, I know I can add them manually but I would like to use the GUI if possible, unfortunately mine is not working except for the root domain.

The root domain is listed in the drop down and it added the DKIM without any issues, but if I try to open the drop down to get to another domain it won't open.

The mail servers been recompiled a few times already.

Is there any way to resolve this so I don't have to do the DKIM through SSH?

E-Mail / Solved: Re: Google blocking emails
« on: February 22, 2018, 06:50:12 AM »
But then it would still be an issue when I removed ClamAV etc.

It turns out the issue was the SPF, I found it by sending an email to Yahoo and checked the header, which gave an error that the SPF error and couldn't be checked, which for Google this would give a low reputation.

E-Mail / Google blocking emails
« on: February 20, 2018, 04:17:40 PM »
If I compile Postfix Mail Server with:

AntiSpam/AntiVirus (recommended):
ClamAV, Amavis & Spamassassin, Requires 1Gb+ RAM

Google blocks my emails with the error below, if I remove it my emails can be delivered.

I have added the Google authentication text to the DNS but that didn't help, (maybe I did it wrong)

It's strange that installed it fails with low reputation but removed it doesn't have any issue.

Anyone have this issue before?

DKIM / Re: DKIM & SPF Manager
« on: February 19, 2018, 10:21:04 PM »
I removed it all and added it back but still no good, so I added everything manually as suggest and also added it manually to the domains DNS.

The DKIM & SPF Manager is showing all green check marks so hopefully this will work, thanks again for everyones help.

Recompile didn't work, also if I go to the Add SPF Record page none of the fields can be edited is that normal on yours as well?

DKIM / Re: DKIM & SPF Manager
« on: February 19, 2018, 05:24:58 PM »
I tried recompiling the mailserver a couple of times already :)

Yes there are other domains that's why it's so important to get this working, Google is kicking back emails it says because of DKIM in their error message.

Let me try recompile again after the update was run.
