CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Make "Top 5 Process [live monitor]" static height
« on: October 21, 2018, 08:56:20 AM »
Hello,

My suggestion is to make "Top 5 Process [live monitor]" tab with static height in CWP Dashboard.

The reason is when I scroll down to restart some service from "Services Status" tab, then "Top 5 Process" tab suddently loads and his height change and move my screen down. So in fact of this I have restarted worng service. This happen so many times.

Thank you! :)

Backup / There is an error, please check that the account no longer exists
« on: September 07, 2018, 02:50:08 PM »
Hello,

There's a problem with restoring full backup generated by CWP. I get error "There is an error, please check that the account no longer exists"

Alo checked /home/, /var/vmail, /etc/password and /etc/shadow.

So I make full backup and then tried to restore on brandly new installation of CWP, whitout any users, but also get "There is an error, please check that the account no longer exists" again.

This is the last part of restore log:

2018-09-07 14:32:35 Exploring user directory in the backup :
2018-09-07 14:32:35 Successful User Validation
2018-09-07 14:32:35 {"user":"","domain":"grep: \/home\/tmpback\/full-backup_20180905093049\/cp\/: No such file or directory","action":"add","pass":"CWPtestPASS","email":"grep: \/home\/tmpback\/full-backup_20180905093049\/cp\/: No such file or directory","package":"2","inode":0,"limit_nproc":40,"limit_nofile":100,"server_ips":"78.90.67.46","backup":"ON"}
2018-09-07 14:32:36 {"status":"Error","msj":"Check All Fields (only lower caps are allowed and no special characters or empty spaces)"}
2018-09-07 14:32:36 Error trying to create the account (Check All Fields (only lower caps are allowed and no special characters or empty spaces))

It seem like backup script searching for "cp" folder witch is not exist.

Also in cPanel Migration tab there's no filds like username for acc and email address whitch to fill.

SSL / Secure CWP ports
« on: June 25, 2018, 09:37:39 AM »
Hello folks!

I have created subdomain like server.domain.com. Also installed SSL Let's Encrypt for server.domain.com. Now I wan to select these certificates for CWP ports and services:  443, 465, 587, 993, 995, 2031, 2083, 2087, 2096.

The location of my ssl files for subdomain is:
SSLCertificateFile: /etc/pki/tls/certs/server.domain.com.cert
SSLCertificateKeyFile: /etc/pki/tls/private/server.domain.com.key

So I replace destinations in /usr/local/cwpsrv/conf/cwpsrv.conf:

from:
ssl_certificate     /etc/pki/tls/certs/hostname.crt;
ssl_certificate_key /etc/pki/tls/private/hostname.key;

to:
ssl_certificate  /etc/pki/tls/certs/server.domain.com.cert;
ssl_certificate_key /etc/pki/tls/private/server.domain.com.key;

But command "service cwpsrv restart" fails with the following error:
cwpsrv: [emerg] SL_CTX_use_PrivateKey_file("/etc/pki/tls/private/server.domain.com.key") failed (SSL: error:0B080074:x509 certifi...

Could anybody help me or show me tutorial for this? I have also researched but there's no tutorial like this.

Thank you in advance!

My suggestion to CWP dev's is to move dns zone files and mail files in user homedir like cPanel/WHM, so you will have backups of them.

I do some tests. Installed 2 Virtual KVM Servers with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.4 (Maipo).

server1: RHEL 7.4, CentOS WebPanel, PHP 7.0.20, MariaDB, Apache 2.4.6

server2: RHEL 7.4, ISPConfig, PHP FPM 7.1.8, MariaDB, Apache 2.4.6 & Varnish Cache & Nginx Reverse Proxy

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Error 503 Backend fetch failed
« on: March 05, 2017, 05:21:41 PM »
Hi Folks,

I have CentOS 7 with CWP7 at my home server.
So my web server configuration fails, when I try Apache & Varnish Cache & Nginx Reverse Proxy.

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:80              0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      19534/varnishd
tcp        0      0 192.168.1.220:82        0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      19517/nginx: master
tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:6082          0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      19533/varnishd
tcp6       0      0 :::80                   :::*                    LISTEN      19534/varnishd
tcp6       0      0 :::8181                 :::*                    LISTEN      13822/httpd

This is ok. Before I haven't saw any Nginx port also.

But the server is behind a router.
CWP Settings > Edit Settings:
Activate NAT-ed Mod: with local ip 192.168.1.220

I get Error 503 Backend fetch failed when I try to load any of websites.

[root@hsrv ~]# curl -I localhost
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: nginx/1.10.3
Date: Sun, 05 Mar 2017 17:13:23 GMT
Content-Type: text/html
Vary: Accept-Encoding
Last-Modified: Tue, 24 Jan 2017 21:00:51 GMT
ETag: W/"13cd-546dd693ee6c0"
X-Cache: HIT from Backend
X-Varnish: 98344
Age: 0
Via: 1.1 varnish-v4
Connection: keep-alive

Also varnish and nginx is here.
The problem comes with Apache I think.
Before a year I fix the same problem by changing IP in apache vhosts template, bud didn't remember.

Can somebody advise?

Thanks!

Other / Excessive resource usage: hlds (29516 (Parent PID:29515))
« on: October 29, 2016, 01:44:48 PM »
Hello folks,

First I want to say my congratulations to all the CWP team for the big project!  :)

So I have installed CWP and manage my dedicated server by it. But I want to run CS:GO server. When I tried to install it I faced some resource limits. I get root email like this:

Subject: lfd on localhost: Excessive resource usage: hlds (29516 (Parent PID:29515))
Message:
Time:         Sat Oct 29 00:00:03 2016 +0300

Executable:   /bin/bash
Command Line: -bash
PID:          29516 (Parent PID:29515)
Killed:       No

Is there a way to control CPU usage for each user by CWP ?

I want to give unlimited CPU usage for user hlds and CWP (if kill) to not kill the user process.

Can somebody help about that?

You should consider upgrading to CloudLinux which provides advanced security features, especially for web servers
