I have same problem as above.

Please dev. Help us to solve it.

I found it, with WinSCP go to /home/user and edit directly in the cron file.
That's all.
The user panel has a lot of bugs... and is encrypted, we can not edit or fix them.

It seems there is 0 support from the developers.
hm...
no help no money

Same issue here in webpanel, it looks like removes the following characters: ' >
e.g.: > /dev/null 2>&1 it changes to: /dev/null 2&1
or
lynx --source 'https://something.domain.com/index.phpi?module=ExcludeByDDNS&action=update&token_auth=1234' > /dev/null 2>&1
changes to:
lynx --source https://piwik.domain.com/index.php?module=ExcludeByDDNS&action=update&token_auth=1234 /dev/null 2&1
Maybe the developers can tell how to add these cron jobs

Editing the user cron file manually does not work, once I log into the user webpanel -> crontab, removes everyting from the edited file (var/spool/cron/userfile)

After recent update apache stopped working! All sites went down.
also all httpd settings have been reverted to default.
This isn't the first time with similar issues after update.
Probably I will block all future updates and communication with cwp servers until you will be able to solve these issues.

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Re: how to secure login ip
« on: February 14, 2017, 06:03:22 AM »
It seems that can't be deleted completely.
Removed all redirects, also edited the vhost templates, but anydomain/cwp and anydomain/cpanel are still redirecting to the IP.
I assume will be fixed in the future versions.
Also I did'n find how to restrict thegui access only thru https.
Any link, description highly appreciated.

Does not work with cwp7
I tried all solutions from the forum and from google results
With apache only selected returns the cloudflare IP
with apache + nginx returns the server IP
some with varnish or all 3
maybe someone know the solution

PHP / Re: setup php to run in chroot/jail
« on: February 03, 2017, 06:29:04 AM »
That doesn't change anything.
Jailkit can be a solution, is working fine in ISPConfig. Is this something that can be used in CWP?

Thanks, but I don't need the cloudlinux features.
I need simple to restrict the customers only to their own directory and disallow from all others.
Recently they can access the entire rootfs from php or shh.
This seems to be a very big security hole if can't be fixed from CWP.

I know that, but does not isolate the customers directories.
This is what I'm looking for.

PHP / setup php to run in chroot/jail
« on: January 27, 2017, 07:37:08 PM »
Can anyone help me in how to setup php to run in chroot/jail?
I need to separate the customers and increase the server security.
Recently from php with scandir the customers or hackers if somewhere the site was hacked can view/modify the major part of directories in CWP.
I want to jail each cutomer to its directory.
Thx

How to / Re: Mitigate Layer7 HTTP Flood with Nginx+Fail2ban in CWP
« on: November 17, 2015, 12:31:13 PM »
Thank you. This one works, but you need powerful CPU on each new attack.
(min 2 cores 2400GHz, depending on the attack volume)
Does not work with varnish is enabled, only nginx.
