Information / Re: Cloudflare Tunnel
« on: April 01, 2023, 11:36:09 PM »It sounds like it should; I use their other services, but not Cloudflare Tunnel. Does your ISP block ports 80, 443 and/or 25? Or does their EULA preclude running a home based server?
Cloudflare has some really great 2 factor authentications and hides your server Ip address. Logging into cwp admin panel would require a user name and password before you even get the CWP login page to display. I'd like to try this on my websites before trying it at home. ISP has no problem with port 80 open and even offer a static IP for $15/month. With fiber optics coming I am thinking that many cloud servers will be moving to home servers.
Cloudflare does not permit email servers and video streaming.

Installation / Re: php per domain
« on: March 22, 2023, 01:51:56 AM »From the Dashboard, select WebServer Settings > WebServers Domain Conf , Select the user name from the pull down menu and then either the main domain or subdomain tabs.yea, that was a waste of time for both you and me.
From the user cPanel, go to CWP Settings > Php Selector

I am having trouble finding the php assignment per domain in cwp pro. I thought I saw it a few days ago. But now I cant find it. I think it might be a bug after the latest update.

I think that was my plan. Modify the spf record for the host to allow all of my domains.

Installation / Re: mail server only
« on: March 13, 2023, 11:15:08 PM »I get nightly forensic reports from google on my spf and dkim records. They are always positive. Google pays close attention to both of these records.
But I still have the question of how do I set up individual emails on the mail server without domains on the same server:
info@domain1.com
info@domain2.com
info@domain3.com
etc etc.
You will have to create a domain in order to create emails for those domains. After that, just don't point any DNS A-record to this server.
Block http/https ports with firewall as well if you like to completely block them.
OK thats what I was suggesting in my post. Just create the fake domains so that the mail server can create email accounts. TY

Installation / Re: HOME SERVER QUESTION
« on: March 13, 2023, 11:12:25 PM »You lost me here.
Here's some serious food for thought: buy a 2012 Mac mini and get it hosted with MacStadium or MacMiniVault/CyberLynk -- $50/mo. This gets you a quad core i7 with 16GB of memory, space for 2 onboard SATA SSDs. You can plugin 4 USB3 SSDs or backup flash drives. You don't have to run macOS either -- you can bare metal CentOS or AlmaLinux on it, or ESXi and run VMs.
Get a mac mini....ok. Then get it hosted? How do I get a local machine hosted and how do I add or remove ssd's?
Sorry, but I don't get any of that part.
