Check password and run this script again.

You are installing on a server where some packages are already installed on server (or you are trying to install CWP on a LAMP server)

You need a clean centos 6 or centos 7

Installation / Re: New installation Centos7 problems
« on: March 09, 2020, 01:51:00 AM »
Did you update the DNS records? Did you update the A record of your domain to point to server IP?

Kindly update the A record so that site can run from your CWP server. Remember that you will surely have a test page when you open server IP because its a multi domains structure.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Cwp-Cwp migration fail
« on: March 03, 2020, 01:14:52 PM »
I agree with pixelpadre.

I could see that sandeep is closing the forum threads unnecessarily where these topics can help others. For example, if I have a same issue which is already posted + discussed in the forum, why should I open a new topic.

Regarding the topic CWP-CWP migration fail, it has been discussed many times on the forum and the developers should be able to detect the issues and fix it rather than waiting for the people to report the issues.

Overall, CWP is the best free control panel but team needs a lot of changes like responding on the forum, updating changelog page, fixing bugs quickly, testing panel on different environment, etc..

Justed updated 0.9.8.942 and could not find this issue.

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: User domain & Subdomain page loading forever
« on: February 13, 2020, 03:19:39 PM »
From last update I am facing multiple issues in my server . Now I cant add add domain or subdomain from user dashboard. When I press on Subdomain . The pages opens but its loading forever(the blue round loader),Same for Domain. If the Subdomain & Addon Domain are empty then the page loads . I have tried updating the cwp via ssh . The issue is not yet solved.

I had the same issue and Jose was able to resolve the issue.

Resolution = Go to Pacakges section and edit package and fill out all fields of the said package and save it. Issue will be gone.

MySQL / Re: Why do I have 6 users for each DB?
« on: February 09, 2020, 01:56:38 PM »
Yes. You can use the users other than [localhost] since others are not needed.

This happens when you import cPanel account to CWP. I have sent the ticket to CWP support for the same issue and hoping a response from them.

Other / Re: CWP support worth every penney
« on: February 07, 2020, 02:50:16 PM »
I have been working with CWP support since last 3 years and they are absolutely great people. Dalibor, Igore, Jose, Sandeep, Alnrok, Evensa, etc.. all are very great people to work with.

Each time, I order a support package, I get prompt response along with issue fix within 4-5 replies.

Information / Re: Current work to improve CWP.
« on: February 05, 2020, 04:32:25 AM »
I agree with rcschaff. There are many knowledgeable users/developers are willing to work with CWP team but they are not responding a way they should.

If they make CWP opensource (and they can make the core functions encoded, that's not a problem), CWP will progress much faster than it is now.

Users will be able to contribute to bug fixes and feature implementation. I have asked them on this matter many times but no response yet.

LMFTFY
1. Create email account in CWP cpanel or from WHM level
2. Login once to email with roundcube so the email folders will be created by dovecot
3. rsync emails from cpanel to cwp. In cwp mail are located at /var/vmail/domain/local_part
4. After rsync change owner of email folder with:  chown -R vmail.mail /var/vmail/domain/local_part

IMO, the location of user emails is fundamentally wrong in CWP. User files should all be stored within the users' own directory.
Note: mysql is also non-compliant (not a CWP issue) in that it stores user databases in /var/lib/mysql

Agreed. Emails should be stored within user's own directory like in cPanel.

Updates / Re: CWPpro version: 0.9.8.930
« on: January 22, 2020, 12:41:11 PM »
I have direct contact with CWP developers and they are very kind, humble and cooperative but I have been asking them to update changelog page since early 2019 but they are not listening on this matter.  :(
