Pydio Error

I did a clean install of Pydio using Softaculous into a subfolder on my site. The site is brand new. Nothing else on it. The program told me that it had installed successfully. But upon entering the url I'm getting a 500 server error.  Any ideas what might be causing this? 

as always you need to check the logs if you want to know how to resolve it.
