Is this article still relevant or its outdated?

Hi,

This post is correct and outdated at the same time because it was created on "December 13, 2020". Currently, the recommended distro for CWP is Almalinux 8.

Exactly, CentOS is dead, and is not RedHat's beta step toward RHEL.
With Fedora still being the alpha.

Not sure why you would run public servers using a beta OS with security flaws and no real upgrade path.
It's OK for a lab environment for learning.

AlmaLinux is the recommended version for new servers.
And I would recommend AlmaLinux 9, since it has a slight speed advantage over 8 when using for websites.
