Title: Cron <root@hosting> /usr/share/clamav/freshclam-sleep

Yesterday, I got a mail message from a root...

The message has a subject:

Cron <root@hosting> /usr/share/clamav/freshclam-sleep

and contains:

ERROR: Can't get information about database.clamav.net: Name or service not known
ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-24011.cdiff from database.clamav.net
ERROR: Can't download daily.cvd from database.clamav.net

what to do?

Today again, but the message contained only:

ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-24011.cdiff from database.clamav.net

I Have the same problem, I am able to ping database.clamav.net from my server but get this error everyday.

ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-24492.cdiff from database.clamav.net
ERROR: Can't download daily.cvd from database.clamav.net

Receiving this email every 3 hours and as of the latest today:

Ive tried pinging database.clamav.net from my server and doesnt seem to be any issues as well as trying sh /scripts/freshclam but get the following:

issue has been resolved.Find below the steps
- systemctl start clamd
- cd /var/lib/clamav
- rm -f *
- systemctl start clamd
- freshclam -v
