Cron freshclam-sleep job shows DB errors

Every few hours I get error message in cron logs:

/usr/share/clamav/freshclam-sleep
ERROR: Database test FAILED.
ERROR: Unexpected error when attempting to update database: daily
ERROR: Database update process failed: Test failed (8)
ERROR: Update failed.

I'm not using ClamAV and service is disabled. Also I don't see such cron task in the list.
What should I do to disable it?

remove the cron job from the list.

I have found the corresponding job in /etc/cron.d/clamav-update

Should I comment out the line

Code Select Expand


0  */3 * * * root /usr/share/clamav/freshclam-sleep

in it or just remove the whole file?
