Title: there is a cache on the server...
Post by: venty on June 10, 2023, 06:54:50 AM
Hi,

I'm trying to import a Wordpress theme demo, but I keep getting errors, is it possible that there is a cache on the server that I'm failing to delete and also a tmp folder with accumulated errors?

Thanks in advance!

Hard to say from here... Are you running redis, memcached, or varnish? All offer caching at various levels.

Varnish caches the site's content. If you make changes on your site and the changes aren't visible then you need to install a Wordpress plugin to operate with Varnish plugin (clean varnish cache on changes). As an example:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/varnish-http-purge/

Please note I don't use Varnish personally so I can't say if this plugin is good or not. Therefore I recommend you to surf https://wordpress.org/plugins
