Hello.
I'm trying to figure out this minor annoyance.
Seemingly daily, I get the "Available updates - SECURITY ISSUE" pop-up.
Yum Manager will list two Varnish updates with the same version #s (screenshot below):

If I click any Update button, it'll say Nothing to do and disappear.
I'm not sure what's triggering to prompt existing Varnish updates as new.
I believe installing Varnish added the repository: varnishcache_varnish64.repo
Curious if this a common issue I've failed to properly Google.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Try cleaning your yum cache. If it's really annoying, remove & reinstall your varnish version.
Personally, I have cron running
yum -y update
every morning before I get into the office, so I never see update notices much anymore.

Thanks for that. I will try the update cron.
I have noticed that some "updates" are older version numbers than what's currently installed.
That has me wondering if multiple repos are competing with each other. Perhaps if Varnish is already included with an Alma or epel repo, I can just remove the varnishcache_varnish64.repo.
My current repositories, if anything stands out as redundant/unnecessary:
almalinux-ha.repo
almalinux-nfv.repo
almalinux-plus.repo
almalinux-powertools.repo
almalinux-resilientstorage.repo
almalinux-rt.repo
almalinux-sap.repo
almalinux-saphana.repo
almalinux.repo
cwp.repo
epel-modular.repo
epel-testing-modular.repo
epel-testing.repo
epel.repo
mariadb.repo
nginx.repo
varnishcache_varnish64.repo
