Title: Shared IP has to be internal IP address
Post by: cherryorange on August 27, 2014, 10:30:02 PM
Hi all,

I have just set up a system and it is behind a firewall with port forwarding in place and I have a nameserver running with all domains loaded and a records etc to the required ip's
The issue i have is that when i set the shared ip to the external ip address the websites go to the http test page and when the shared ip is set to the internal ip the websites show correctly. this is ok apart from when I click the roundcube or phpmyadmin links they fail as the need the external ip address in the url and it is trying to load them with the internal ip of the server.

Any ideas on why this is happening?

Thanks

once you change share ip address on server under edit settings then you need to rebuild all your vhost using rebuild vhost option in apache menu, you can use local ip for shared.
