Title: Error Outlook: 450 4.7.1 Client host rejected
Post by: cristian_arg on January 02, 2017, 05:37:15 PM
Hello, I have problems to send mails from the client Outlook returns the error 450 4.7.1 Client host rejected: can not find your hostname, while if I send it from WebMail it works.
As I read it may be a Postfix configuration, any suggestions?
Thanks.

Check if your revdns is correct.

In MXToolBox  says:

SMTP Reverse DNS Mismatch

Then it can be the problem?
In the vps where can I check it?

Thanks!

Hi, the rdns is already correctly configured, what I find that maybe this is not well configured is in MailServer Manager, where it says hostaname I have host.domain.com and the domain is .com

Do I have to change the domain? domain.com and Rebuild Mail Server?

Thanks

Hello, this problem was solved, it was not a problem of Vps but of the DNS

Thanks

You miss configure outlook setting..
To make outlook able send email through your server, must enable smtp authentication in outlook..
