Hello,
With two servers i have the same trouble with dovecot>
Starting Dovecot Imap: doveconf: Fatal: Error in configuration file /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf line 144: Unknown setting: managesieve_max_line_length
When i remove dovecot and install dovecot it't start for fews minutes if i change hostname or rebuild mailserver the dovecot stop again and can't start.

On the version thqt is not working, Post the following file contents here...
/etc/dovecot/conf.d/20-managesieve.conf
And also,
/etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-master.conf

Try commands below:
yum -y reinstall dovecot
yum -y install dovecot-pigeonhole dovecot-mysql

the second command give this output:
[root@sv1 ~]# yum -y install dovecot-pigeonhole dovecot-mysql

Try to comment/delete the lines below in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
service stats {
unix_listener stats {
mode = 0662
}
}

As a matter of interest, you say you removed then reinstalled dovecot. How did you go about that exactly? (It appears that it did not actually reinstall?)

I've said reinstall. Where do you see the remove?
