Title: *Account Suspended* in recent installation
Post by: carlosb882 on May 03, 2020, 09:01:12 PM
Hello,

I have recently installed CWP on a VPS with centos7, and when I try to log in with root I get a message saying that the account is suspended.

The user of the vps is "carlos", since being a vps I do not have the root user.

Putting the command: grep root/etc/shadow tells me that the root is:

root:!!:18301:0:99999:7:::

But still do not let me access the control panel. I have tried multiple users and passwords for 2 hours.

Please help me!

You HAVE to have root access to use CWP. If your using a "Managed VPS" and they created you a user account with sudo access, then you need to deal with them.  CWP will only allow login to the Admin panel using the root username/password.  Also not that some special characters will fail login.
