Title: Where Is The File System Lock?
Post by: yeknafar on August 05, 2020, 08:53:52 PM
Hello
Thank you for your attention.
I searched the CWP panel and Googled and searched this forum too but as it seems the place of "File System Lock" has changed.
I cannot find it.

Hi, you can find it under a user (in CWPuser).

Thank you

I really did not know we have such a part. (After useing the CWP for 2 years)
I googled and found this information:

https://www.hostwinds.com/guide/cwp-user-login/

IS it safe that we connect to the rootpanel with our IP:2031?

In the user panel check the orange button "unlocked" (screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/A66B66m.png )
You can use 2031 or 2087 ports for CWPadmin. Both using https and it should be safe. I would recommend to install SSL for hostname and using it.
