When are You planning add PHP 8.0 to CWP ?
-
Sandeep already has tutorial.
https://www.mysterydata.com/install-php-8-latest-version-in-cwp-control-panel/
Not official yet but he said config is 100% copy of the official.
I would suggest saving a snapshot first.
-
by following this tutorial will it tie in with the php selector etc or could there be issues?
Id prefer to keep 7.4 as the default and just have 8 installed for experimenting on
-
Don't see a Ioncube version for PHP 8 yet.
But PHP 8 isn't backwards compatible. So this could get interesting.
-
it's too early to use php 8 because of all those missing extensions.
-
Now... ?
IMO i use 8.x now
-
Problem is ionCube still only supports up to PHP 7.4 (even the new version 11.0.0).
No PHP 8.0 support yet.
