DNS Manager / Can't reset password using the Forgot Password Option
« on: October 03, 2025, 12:59:08 AM »
I am trying to reset my password from the login screen on the freedns.centos-webpanel.com/login.php using the Forgot Password Option as for some reasons my old password doesn't work.
Once I click on the forgot password the resetpassword page has this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bad_records() in /home/freednsw/public_html/resetpassword.php on line 275 (https://freedns.centos-webpanel.com/resetpassword.php)
Is there any other way to reset you password?
This is highly unusual that a basic functionality like password reset to be broken. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

DNS Manager / Re: Cannot login

Same problem, when I try to log in the screen just refreshes.
This happen to me a while back but then it all return to normal.
However I tried the reset password and that worked. I can log back into my account after resetting my password using the original email I created the account with. The system will send you a default password. If you try to change that password only use alphanumeric characters in the password do not use any symbols or dashes or you will receive a big red error message.

High Performance / Brotli compression not working
« on: September 11, 2021, 06:14:20 PM »
Hi
I have CWP Pro
Running Nginx & Varnish & Apache - all working good
I installed brotli as per instructions here:
https://www.mysterydata.com/how-to-enable-brotli-compression-in-apache-web-server-on-cwp/
All installed ok and now the brotli_module is listed under apache modules, but I can't figure why even that I enable brotli in the .htaccess and in the vhosts but I can't see it working in in the browser when i check Content Encoding in Chrome it is still gzip.
Any guidance will be helpful.

DNS / FreeDNS comes with Exit Status 1 error after commit
« on: July 14, 2021, 06:46:47 AM »
Hi,
Regardless which Zone I make a change too when I click Commit Changes I get to a white page with this information.
"/usr/sbin/rndc exit status 1"
If I do a page refresh the page reloads with the message:
"Commit changes
The changes have been committed successfully."
And it looks like the changes been committed.
Is it normal to have this error coming up after each zone commit?
Thank you
