SSL / Cannot delete SSL certificate
« on: December 24, 2017, 05:11:25 AM »
Hi, can anyone help please?

I go into SSL Cert Manager in apache settings, and one of my domains will not delete the certificate, I have the following in paths.

DocumentRoot: /home/username/public_html/doctor
SSLCertificateFile (file not exists)
SSLCertificateKeyFile (file not exists)
SSLCertificateChainFile (file not exists)

Now although I've deleted the domain name for the above (the database has gone, the files, the folder, everything for the domain) the certificate is still showing for the domain, and it wont delete?

Another question, is that one of my domains certificates has expired, but will not auto install again? And when I run auto renew, it still says expired.

And last question (thanks) is that some of the domains show the IP address I allocated to my local server, and some show the ip of my broadband line (the actual ip address) Why do they show two different ip addresses in the column titled 'IP' in the 'SSL Cert Manager'f?

Many thanks, if anyone can help.

Regards

CentOS 7 Problems / Getting "It Works" page on IP address
« on: July 04, 2017, 01:49:35 PM »
Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum - or indeed anything to do with CWP - but obviously need to ask to discount it?

I have centos cwp installed on centos 7.

Everytime I put in my real IP address bar, I get the html page headed 'It Works!'

Is this anything to do with cwp, or something else I need to look at? Or, if its not, what page should be displayed normally with cwp, if the static ip is entered into the browser address bar?

Many thanks

CentOS Configuration / Problem with CentosPRO
« on: March 03, 2017, 04:23:45 PM »
Hi, after recently changing ip I have the follow problem, if anyway can suggest anything with CwpPRO facility.

I purchased a 1 year facility of the PRO version control panel, however when ip changed, and I re-installed my control panel (had to for other reasons) I am now not getting the control panel to say 'CWPpro' in the top left corner of the cwp control panel, and a result I cannot use the RAM varnish facility?

Cwp support got back to me saying...

If your cwp license isn't activated you need to check that you have the correct ip set on our system.

You can check the ip which needs to be licensed by using the following command from your server
curl "http://www.centos-webpanel.com/ip/"

If the output of ip is the same as the one you have in our system then your server should be active as CWPpro on the next run of the cwp cron.

You can also run it manually and then login into cwp and check if the cwp is switched to cwppro.
sh /scripts/update_cwp

Best Regards
CWP Development Team

I tried this, but still no joy. I got my ip back when trying the first test, and the second didn't work either?

Anyone got any sugguestions. Thanks.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Is there definative answer to Permissions errors?
« on: January 10, 2017, 12:45:47 AM »
Hello,

Can anyone help on this please.

I am having so many problems with permissions, that I wonder to give up or not.

I've had paid support for this problem, and they fix it, and then it goes wrong again, can anyone tell me what to do on this? I cannot keep paying for support (I'm not that rich! :)

Even when I go to 'User Accounts', and select 'Fix Permissions', I still cannot create new folders in the ftp hosting software (either CuteFTP or Filezilla) However, I can create a folder from within the 'Advanced File Manager' but this way, I can only create 1 folder at a time, and transfer only 5 files - so so time consuming?

Lastly, I cannot even download and install wordpress plugins from the browser?

My config, is nginx, varnish, mod-security.

Any help would be appreciated, especially if its specific, or url to put me on the right track perhaps?

Many thanks (on the verge of going back to ISPconfig?)

Hi,

Have had no problems with login into the admin panel for cwp, until a couple of days ago?

I have just updated my cwp panel (though the update packages in the cwp server settings) and now I cannot login to my cwp admin panel?

I just keep getting a time out connection.

I have re-installed the server software, I have re-installed the system on the pc connecting to the server - did all this - then found out that when I put my backup server of my centos and cwp into hyper-v, everything is fine. As soon as I upgrade the server packages, I get the timeout connection error in firefox and chrome etc.

Can anyone help on any ideas or recognised faults please?

Many thanks

Hi,

I keep getting the:

Starting Clam AntiVirus Daemon: LibClamAV Warning: *************************
LibClamAV Warning: ***  The virus database is older than 7 days!  ***
LibClamAV Warning: ***   Please update it as soon as possible.    ***
LibClamAV Warning: **************************************************

Is there an ssh command that will solve this? Or anyone any suggestions on how to update - please step by step if possible, as newbie to cwp.

Many thanks
