Updates / Re: CWP Broken After Update
« on: July 14, 2020, 07:42:05 PM »
I paid $7.50 for CWP 1-time support and they fixed it for me within an hour.

No idea what the problem was, but the service is fast and inexpensive.

Updates / Re: Yum Manager won't update ImageMagick
« on: July 13, 2020, 02:13:19 PM »
Managed to resolve it:

remove conflict dependencies first
yum remove ImageMagick
yum remove ImageMagick6-libs-0:6.9.11.6-1.el7.remi.x86_64
then
yum install ImageMagick

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / CWP Images & CSS Won't Load After Update
« on: June 27, 2020, 04:36:59 AM »
I was updating CWP and the server had to be restarted before completing the update.

Now the Admin panel CSS and images won't load, which makes the panel unusable.

Client panel and file manager are working fine.

I tried to restart, run cwp update, no result.

I looked up /usr/local/cwpsrv/logs/error_log and found errors like this:

2020/06/26 03:23:08 [error] 931#0: *17 open() "/usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/admin/login/design/img/login.css" failed (20: Not a directory), client: 54.38.148.178, server: localhost, request: "GET /login/design/img/login.css HTTP/1.1", host: "web01.saadhost.com:2031", referrer: "https://web01.saadhost.com:2031/login/index.php"

I checked the CWP error log and I am finding errors like this:

Updates / CWP Broken After Update
« on: June 26, 2020, 01:51:03 AM »
After update my CWP Pro looks like this:

Previously I was getting this error:

** (pkttyagent:26814): WARNING **: 03:54:40.789: Unable to register authentication agent: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1.Error.Failed: Cannot determine user of subject
Error registering authentication agent: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1.Error.Failed: Cannot determine user of subject (polkit-error-quark, 0)

Which I handled with this:

groupadd -g 23 nohidproc
usermod -a -G nohidproc polkitd
mount -o remount,rw,hidepid=2,gid=nohidproc /proc
systemctl restart polkit

How can I fix this?

PHP-fpm installs but won't start.

Also, Ioncube doesn't work.

Hi,

Can you describe the upgrade procedure for php 7.4?

I can't find exact instructions anywhere.

9
The server cert itself gets renewed, the issue is that the hostname.pem file doesn't get automatically generated.

I just fixed this issue and created a tutorial on it.

I just did a whole day of research on this. It happens when your FTP client is set to "Explicit FTP over TLS".

Editing # PassivePortRange and opening those ports in CSF /etc/pure-ftp/pure-ftpd.conf works.

If you don't have time, as a temporary solution you can also set your FTP client to plain FTP (Insecure).

Admin Panel exists in English only, but can be translated.

Client panel exists in languages.

CentOS Configuration / Re: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

The setup is regular WordPress. Nothing special.

I found a handling that works for me:

clear the varnish cache and restart varnish for the checks.

Yes, I did that, but it's only a temporary fix.
The problem comes back and I cannot be there each time to manually restart.

Excluding the home page could be a solution, but how do I do that?
