Nope, the robots are still there.
There are more sites on that server and it's only on 1 site (I don't want to expose this site in publice here, otherwise you can see it if you search the domain name on Google). some other sites are normally indexed by Google, others that where indexed are gone.
Google is a big mess the last time...

Thnx again for your reply, that makes sense to me, i am not really a "server nerd" so your help is much appreciated.
I made the robots.txt file trough SSH in Nano, but when i want to save it i also get the reply "permission denied".

Tried to upload to the 2 locations, but on SFTP i get "permission denied", the CWP filemanager gives me a green upload, but i don't see the robots.txt as a file in the location

I suppose that the robot.txt has to be in the root of the website? i placed it there.
User-agent: Googlebot
Disallow: /cpanel.domain.com/

Hi all,
I got something strange... A couple of weeks ago i placed a new domain on my sever, and now Google has indexed it, but when i do a search in Google to that domain name, Google has found it (domain.com) but is only giving a link to a CWP login not the website itself:
https://cpanel.domain.com/login/
On all other sites i don't have this problem, and can't find what the issue causes.
Maybe someone knows how this can happen?

CSF Firewall / No firewall e-mails anymore

Hi all,
I think since a week or so, i don't get emails anymore from the firewall that an IP was blocked after 5 times trying to enter XMLRPC or SMTP.
More people with this? Solution?

« on: May 07, 2023, 08:28:05 PM »It should work -- did you try Cloudflare's dev mode? Did you test via a VPN from outside your LAN? Sometimes loopback/hairpin NAT requires further setup to work with your router, if that's what you are doing.
If you want to change your CWP login port, there are many guides:

I personally don't run under CWP's default port assignments, nor the cPanel/WHM port-alike assignments. I chose my own custom ports. But if anyone does a port scan on my server, obviously I have typical LAMP/LEMP ports open, with mail service ports open as well. It just makes it that much harder for script kiddies to pound my server and doesn't leave me susceptible to FritzFrog for SSH hack attacks.

I have a dedicated server with CWP, and the nameservers are on the main domain.
Al my sites on the server are under Cloudflare and running fine, only my main domain not. When i set it under Cloudflare i can't reach the CWP any more on https://server.mydomain.com:2031.
The last time i tried i had the Cpanel record in the Cloudflare DNS set on DNS only - local IP. The nameservers of the main domain where propagated and i could login to the CWP again, but after around 5 hours it was again not working.
I would like to have the main domain on Cloudflare and that it is possible to go to the CWP trough https://server.mydomain.com:2031.

I turned off the redirect, that makes no difference.
Must say i am not really a server nerd, so i don't understand how to set another port in the cfs firewall. Is it this rule that i have to change in csf.conf? PORTS_cwp = "2030,2031"
