DNS / Re: How to use 2 domains on one account?
« on: May 21, 2023, 06:25:36 AM »
use addon domain
then add second domain and point it to other directory not public_html

I have been trying to do this but when I go into the little folder and point it to somewhere else besides the public_html of the folder I need it to go to it doesn't go to that site it errors not found.

Example: I have and I want to go to and not change to but stay and show the same website. Basically 2 domains showing the same website.

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: Disk Quota Exceeded???
« on: April 03, 2023, 06:53:28 PM »
Created a whole new account, copied files over for her website using backuply restore and I am still getting the same issue with a fresh new account so I have determined it HAS to be CWP causing this issue. I cannot afford to lose my few wordpress customers I have by wiping the whole server and starting fresh :(

Since they don't attachments here (clueless as to why it's a big deal) I have screenshotted the errors and here is the link to view them:

Wordpress 6.2 update also failed with the following error:

Downloading update from

The authenticity of could not be verified as no signature was found.

Unpacking the update…

Could not copy file.: wordpress/wp-includes/Requests/src/Exception/Transport/Curl.php

Installation failed.

Please help, I need to fix this issue asap.

Can you create a Package with higher limits / preferably unlimited and try assigning that package to the user? Or try making the troublesome user a Reseller (less desirable, I'm sure)?

Can you try uploading with a regular system user, created outside of CWP? (I usually keep a sudo user in my back pocket...)

All the other accounts on the server are uploading fine, it's only this one account that has an issue.

CentOS 7 Problems / Disk Quota Exceeded???
« on: March 31, 2023, 01:51:33 AM »
I keep getting disk quota exceeded and it is not even close as it's set to unlimited.

My server has 1TB hdd space so I am not out of space:

Filesystem      Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
devtmpfs        3.9G     0  3.9G   0% /dev
tmpfs           3.9G     0  3.9G   0% /dev/shm
tmpfs           3.9G  387M  3.5G  10% /run
tmpfs           3.9G     0  3.9G   0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/vda1       984G  353G  582G  38% /
tmpfs           783M     0  783M   0% /run/user/0
tmpfs           783M     0  783M   0% /run/user/1017

The users account is not over any quota:

nancjo    --    950M  51200M  51200M          25000 25000 25000

But when I try to ftp wordpress 6.2 up to the account I get the following error:

[R] STOR wp-db.php
[R] 553 Can't open that file: Disk quota exceeded
[R] Transfer Failed: wp-db.php
[R] MLST wp-diff.php
[R] 550 Can't check for file existence

[R] 257 "/public_html" is your current location

I have even tried uploading the files via cwp file manager and 2 different ftp clients for windows (flashfxp and filezilla). Any help would be appreciated.

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Re: Error 500 on login - connection not secure
« on: January 12, 2023, 10:37:14 AM »
I think that is why there is very little responses around here to get help is because if you don't pay for it, you don't get any help. I have a couple topics open that have NEVER been responded to. I am seeking a new CP as we speak that I can migrate my accounts to.

Addons / Re: Free billing system for CWP Septemeber 2019???
« on: November 10, 2022, 07:27:33 PM »
This exists by the CWP Devs but I can't for the life of me find a way to download it:

Anyone else have the same issue?

Ok I moved an account from another vps to my new vps. This account had several accounts under it because originally they were on a cpanel shared hosting. Anyway the move went great but when I went into the domains list and tried to convert a BIG site to it's own user account I got this and now I don't see the account under domains, it's now under users but it's not complete.

504 Gateway Time-out cwpsrv

So, my question is, how do I get this account to grab the whole thing without timing out???

Updates / node.js yum update
« on: July 14, 2022, 06:31:43 PM »
Under my list of updates is nodejs.x86_64 update. No matter how many times I try to update it, it won't go away. This what I get:

Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * base:
 * epel:
 * extras:
 * remi-safe:
 * updates:
Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package nodejs.x86_64 1:16.15.0-3.el7 will be updated
--> Processing Dependency: nodejs = 1:16.15.0-3.el7 for package: 1:npm-8.5.5-
---> Package nodejs.x86_64 2:8.17.0-1nodesource will be an update
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
 You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

CentOS Configuration / Change path for user/domain/sub domain?
« on: May 31, 2022, 02:09:17 AM »
I moved from a cPanel shared accout to a VPS and I am running CWP Pro on it. The provider created the cpmove backup file for me and put on my VPS in /home. I went into CWP and ran the cPanel account restore.

The problem now the host tells me is this:

Upon investigating, I see that all the addon domains are pointing to the path /home/zothnetc/public_html/, due to which they are being redirected to the main domain Please refer to the screenshot attached.

I would suggest you point the domains to their correct path so that the websites will work fine. For eg: point to /home/zothnetc/ (where the website files of are located). I would suggest you check the CWP forums on how to edit/change the directory of each website ( Since it is a custom installation, we will not be able to do it for you as we do not exactly the directory of each domain.

Any idea how to do this without deleting accounts and re-creating them and spending days uploading their content?
