Backup / Using an extra local drive on the server for backups
« on: February 24, 2021, 10:46:51 AM »
Hi,
I just attached a local drive to the server and created the partition on it, mounted, etc. It's sdc1.
How do I use this drive for backups in the backup configuration?
Running CWP Pro.

Many thanks for you replies in advance.

Apache / Nginx & Varnish & Apache
« on: January 10, 2020, 09:05:18 AM »
Hi,
When Nginx & Varnish & Apache webserver is selected, should the .htaccess mod_rewrites work? Or only those in the nginx vhosts config files?
None of them seems to be working when I am trying to setup a rewrite for jpg -> webp images.

MySQL / Re: Instructions for fixing roundcube issues

This was the solution for me:
mysql -u root 'roundcube' < /usr/local/cwpsrv/var/services/roundcube/SQL/mysql.initial.sql

Migration from other control panels / CWP to CWP no emails after migration
« on: November 24, 2018, 06:42:13 PM »
Hi,
Just migrated cwp to cwp to a different server.
I copied all the email addresses but the inbox is empty.
Is this normal or is there a bug why it did not migrate the emails?
Thank you in advance.

Steven

Hi,
Will the new backup system include emails as well in the PRO versions?
If not, any way to auto backup emails on each account?
Thank you in advance.

CentOS 7 Problems / Update buttons in YUM manager inactive

Hi,
In YUM Manager all update buttons are inactive. Can't be clicked.
Are they only available in Pro? Does it still receive security updates?

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Default HTTP Test Page won't change
« on: April 13, 2017, 06:09:33 PM »

I think you are editing the wrong file. A.f.a.i.k you should edit
the index.html located at /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/tpl/new_account_tpl

Devnul
You are a gentleman!!! You nailed it.
Works as expected!
Thanks

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Default HTTP Test Page won't change
« on: April 13, 2017, 02:07:44 PM »
Hi Thanks for replying.
Yes, I know that, but I edited the master one so each new user should get the same new default page which is located /usr/local/apache/htdos/index.html , is that correct?
The problem is that eventhough I have edited the original master test page, new users still get the old one.
I hope it makes sense.

Steven

Hi,
I have edited /usr/local/apache/htdos/index.html but when I add a new user it still diplays the original http test page.
Can anyone please advise what I am doing wrong here?
Thank you in advance.

Steven
