CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Issue with DNS and Rebuilt VHost

I don't exactly understand your question but it should be easy to modify the DNS record using ssh at /var/named

Installation / Re: is this web pannel compatible with centos 7

I don't think so. Its primarily made for CentOS 6. I don't see any reason to use any other version though.

I think I somewhere read about the CWP front-end design / code files being in /usr/local. So I guess it would be relatively easy just to modify the link in the code. OR if you are just using the server yourself, there is no need to modify the link since you already now its new path that you set.

Edit -- Here it is /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/admin/design/

Can you login to mysql root through ssh?

mysql -u root -p

Hello There,
I tried searching for this but couldn't get anything concrete.

So as we all know, phpmyadmin is currently using its default URL structure which is ip/phpMyAdmin , which in my opinion is not a good practice. So if I change the default URL from phpmyadmins configuration file, how would I replicate the new link in CWP's client side interface?

In short, where are the CWP design codes located in order to change the URL that clients see in their panel.

What is the error like? Also, are you using exactly the same username / pass as the client panel?

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / File manager - authentication error
« on: February 06, 2015, 09:09:21 AM »
Hello There,
I recently decided to test CWP and possible move a few VPS clients from cPanel. I installed a copy on a new server and everything looks good. When I try to login to "file manager" from a cwp.client account, it asks for authentication. I try to use the same credentials as client's panel login but it shows authentication failed.

I tried Googling around a bit but no help.

Thank You.
