« on: April 08, 2015, 12:17:20 PM »
manually added something to iptables will flush that rule on restart of csf.
doh! so I have to learn CSF..

I guess I'll put those rules on "Firewall post configuration" because I little big complex,
example:
Chain POSTROUTING 1    MASQUERADE  all  --  10.8.0.0/24          0.0.0.0/0

CSF Firewall / CSF restart from CWP crash iptables...
« on: April 08, 2015, 09:33:12 AM »
I've added few iptables rules with
Code: [Select]
iptables -A etc

now when from the CSF Firewall page I click on Firewall Restart button... the web page crash, I mean the webpanel gets unresponsive for few minutes (tested with multiples browsers) and if I issue the command
Code: [Select]
service iptables status I see it running but without the custom rules settled before

then if I give the command
Code: [Select]
service iptables restart I got back the custom rules and the page "List iptables rules" on CWP working again

is that normail or a bug?

CWP version 0.9.8.4

CSF Firewall / How to Enable CSF UI
« on: April 08, 2015, 06:26:54 AM »
there a page in wiki to enable CSF UI: http://wiki.centos-webpanel.com/how-to-enable-csf-ui

but there's a step missing:
put the allowed IPs in /etc/csf/ui/ui.allow
or disable UI_ALLOW in /etc/csf/csf.conf

CWP 0.9.8.4
if I rebuild postfix with antispam/antivirus amavisd-new doesn't get installed

I don't know if that's the reason why I get the error:
connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused

Postfix / postfix [127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused
« on: April 07, 2015, 06:32:23 AM »
my postfix with rDNS is working fine, but if I rebuild it with AntiSpam/AntiVirus the mails I send are kept in queue with this error:

connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused

I guess there's a line missing in /etc/postfix/main.cf:

smtp-content_filter = amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024

Anyway I always get the root's emails from lfd and others

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Heavy GUI Slow Menu
« on: April 06, 2015, 03:18:37 PM »
In my experience the main shortcoming is the sub-menus that need to be fetched with javascript/ajax everytime you click that portion of menu...
I guess having the whole menu already loaded would be a big boost in the surfing experience

my two cents!

could someone tell me how could I modify the spamassassin preferences?
can I do it from the web gui or do I have to modify some config files?
thanks!
