I was hoping it would be easy to maintain nginx/Tomcat manually and do my assignment on the custom websites.

Hi Mark,

Did you have any luck with this configuration? Just curious how you managed this installation. I'm planning to configure nginx manually as well.

What other guides are there to easily install cwp without these issues? I would like to know all peculiarities to write my paper comparing the security and convenience of using CentOS Webpanel vs ISPConfig vs Ajenti.

Hi,

You may also find step by step guides of CentOS Web Panel Installation on Tecmint, Webhostinggeeks or Webhostface.

Are there any other resources explaining why this error occurs and how to fix it to do my programming homework and add Cloudfare name servers?

Hi,

There're a couple of older posts on the forum explaining how to deal with the same error - the first search results, if you google "DNS of your domain doesn't point to this server or you have htaccess"
Also, here's a discussion with some relevant thoughts on cloudflare DNS: http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/dns/adding-cloudflare-name-servers/

How can I completely turn off the DNS part of CWP?

I am only hosting a few websites and GoDaddy holds my DNS so I want to disable/turnoff/remove DNS from CWP I do not need it at all.

Just in case you need this as well.

Installation / Re: shoutcast doesn't work

Typing font by essaytyper.pro

in "Shoutcast Manager" I tried to create a radio on port 8002, 8004, etc ... but it doesn't work.

I tried to follow what the link says http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/addons/linux-shoutcast-manager-how-to-install-shoutcast-server/

but I couldn't find the option to enable shoutcast and "port +1" on the firewall in the "CSF Firewall" menu.

Hi,
Look here:
http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/centos-webpanel-bugs/plugin-shoutcast-manager/

There's also a module for shoutcast v2.5 mentioned by Alex Vidal, but the link is not working anymore.

Hello,
You can simply ignore this message by closing it if activated. I completed the process following this video guide >>
