Installation / Re: Centos 8 Version
« on: June 23, 2020, 12:26:12 PM »
In the end of the year Centos6 is EOL. I suppose there is a lot CentOS6 installations and eventual migration to CentOS8 will be better instead of migration to CentOS7. Do you have any progress with CentOS8 version?
why not you wait for centos 9 ?
I'm system administrator and for me is quite strange have to reinstall my servers everythime when a new OS is released. CentOS6 dosen't support distributive upgrade - something which is given in most of the Linux distributions - Debian, Slackware, Suse etc... Your question totally unnecessary and offtopic.

PHP / Re: setup php to run in chroot/jail
« on: April 07, 2019, 04:28:50 PM »
That doesn't change anything.
Jailkit can be a solution, is working fine in ISPConfig. Is this something that can be used in CWP?
Yes. This is shame that option is still missing in CWP

Updates / Re: Upgrade php 5.6 to version 5.6.29
« on: March 21, 2017, 08:01:20 AM »
Neo2SHYAlien:
Thank you the link, I was able to update my switcher version of PHP from 5.6.14 to 5.6.30, in addition, compile modules for memcache, opcache and imagemagick; I have to run each additional on separate builds by using modified scripts, it's a kludge, but it works, if it could only be streamlined, that would be a plus.

Speaking of the PHP module memcache, unfortunately I was not able to compile memcached, despite repeated attempts, so for the time being I'm using the server daemon 'memcached' with PHP module memcache, although was I understand, it's not ideal.

In any event, again, thank you!

You are very welcome :)

Mod_Security / multiple issues with webftp_simple
« on: March 12, 2017, 09:43:47 AM »
For some reason webftp_simple is not excluded from Mod_Security and it's generate a lot of warnings and bans for my friends. I have to exclude it from mod_sec settings:

Code: [Select]
# cat /usr/local/apache/modsecurity-cwaf/custom_user.conf
# Put your custom ModSecurity directives here
# Please don't remove this file

<LocationMatch /webftp_simple/>
  <IfModule mod_security2.c>
    SecRuleEngine Off
  </IfModule>
</LocationMatch>

CWP team will be really good idea to completely disable mod sec for webftp_simple by default or add it to panel server (to be accessible on CWP ports 2030/2031) instead of to users Apache. Also roundcube and phpmyadmin is installed in users apache  ;)

Installation / Re: ipv6 errors while setting up

IPv6 functionality should be included in CWP otherwise is pointless for every new domain to do manual setups  :)

Updates / Re: Upgrade php 5.6 to version 5.6.29
« on: March 08, 2017, 08:00:17 AM »
Does anyone have an update for the latest version of CWP, it seems in the latest version, the file /usr/local/src/php-5.6.sh doesn't exist any longer and I need PHP 5.6.30 in my switcher, rather than 5.6.14.

That or if anyone has resolved on how to upgrade the switcher version from 5.6.14 to 5.6.30 in the latest version of CWP, please reply..

Thank you.

I'm still waiting for upgrade scripts for the new version. For older  0.9.8.153 version this fix works fine, before few days I upgrade my php to 5.6.30 :)

p.s After first compilation CWP create needed scripts under /usr/local/src/ ;)
p.s2 but for some reason CWP remove shell scripts here is a link for the original script from 0.9.8.189  CWP

upgrade scripts are ready but for start we are testing on a few servers as there are some things that need to be improved as each server is different.
Info about upgrade will be described detailed on the wiki once the scripts are tested on few different type of servers.

Great. Thank you very much for the update!!!

It is not my intention to make spam ..... I just wanted to report my problem. It could be due to the new update.
CWPpro version: 0.9.8.153

Man please stop spamming. If you have problem there is a lot better ways to report about it try to contact support (you are at pro version) or open new thread. This thread is for upgrading to 0.9.8.153 from previous versions. Don’t mix the thread please.

I do not know what problem I have ... but I have more than three days that the panel is giving many loading problems ... slows down the opening of web pages.

Why you spam this thread with not relevant information ? if you have a problem you should check you logs and try contact CWP support. If you expect somebody in the to help you you should apply your errors and logs forum your server. Personally I'm not soothsayer to help you with this huge information "I do not know what problem I have"
