CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: VARNISH CONFIGURATION
« on: February 15, 2022, 04:16:32 PM »
I think I found the config file /usr/lib/systemd/system/varnish.service
and the default value -s malloc,256m can be replaced to change the allocated memory size
Could not find out how can I see the cached files?

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / VARNISH CONFIGURATION
« on: February 14, 2022, 11:02:23 PM »
I have installed Varnish on CWPpro version: 0.9.8.1129, Web Servers: nginx-varnish-apache.
Now how can I configure the maximum amount of memory Varnish can use? I did some research but none of those config files mentioned contain memory allocation.
/etc/varnish/conf.d/vhosts/mydomain.conf for example has no options for memory allocation
How can I see the cached files, or at least the top cached files?
Thanks

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Cannot update PHP to 7.4.24
« on: February 01, 2022, 03:50:25 PM »
I have a Centos 8 OS dedicated server with interserver. Yesterday installed latest CWP. In the PHP selector tried to install PHP 7.4.24. The install stops saying that ceratin modules are missing. They are related to Sodium and imagick. Tried to install the missing modules but did not succeed.
I know Centos-8 is not officially supported, but does still work with the latest CWP at all?
Thanks

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: CWP7 - mail never gets delivered
« on: November 23, 2021, 08:01:49 PM »
Just for curiosity's sake, started the old VPS (the name server IP addresses were already removed from the namecheap regsitrar a day ago, the domain names resolve to the new server). I wanted to see what happens. Just could not believe my eyes: the old server, although should be dead, still is capable of delivering emails. It looks like my old mail server is cached somewhere in the internet.

CentOS 7 Problems / CWP7 - mail never gets delivered
« on: November 23, 2021, 06:17:39 PM »
My outgoing email stays in the que, never gets delivered. I know many people have the same problem.
BUT
Yesterday, on a freshly installed CWP7 configured a mail server. It worked perfectly, the mail-tester score was 10.0.
Then, I shut down the VPS. On a new VPS, reinstalled the same thing from scratch with new OS, exactly the same way.
Then, on the namecheap registrar, changed the ns1 and the ns2 records pointing to the new IP address. Since then already a day has passed, but the new mail server is still not working.
In the que manager it shows "Queue reason: (mail transport unavailable)"
Basically the settings, the CWP version on the two VPS servers are identical, except for the IP address.
How is it possible that mail was working on the first machine perfectly, and a day later on the new VPS doesn't?
I checked the new IP is not blacklisted.
How can I fix it?
Thanks

CentOS 7 Problems / CWP7 SMTP NOT WORKING
« on: November 22, 2021, 05:07:34 PM »
I have a freshly installed CWP7 panel with Centos 8. Email account is setup, I can receive and send mail in Roundcube.
Now, configured my Thunderbird client for the mail server. I can receive POP3 emails but cannot send email in SMTP protocol thru Thunderbird. it says:
"The message could not be sent because the connection to SMTP server smtp.xxxx.net timed out"
What is wrong?
Thanks

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: CRONTAB JOB NOT RUNNING IF I AM NOT LOGGED IN
« on: October 29, 2021, 01:08:58 AM »
I found it. SQL database did not load correctly, because MariaDB was disabled. Since SQL service was not running, could not import data in the memory tables

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / CRONTAB JOB NOT RUNNING IF I AM NOT LOGGED IN
« on: October 28, 2021, 07:39:03 PM »
I created a crontab job to load the memory tables into mysql database from a file stored on the server.
A simple php script. Added this crontab job running when system boots:
root php /home/altaqs/public_html/memory_tables_import.php
The problem is that the crontab job is executed at startup if only I am logged into the CWP panel.
If I am not logged into the CWP, the startup Crontab is not executed.
CWP version: 0.9.8.1096
How can I fix it?
Thank you
