New update broke http conf files and php fpm
« on: December 30, 2021, 01:29:08 PM »
CWP folks,

The latest update that happened overnight completely hosed my system. It appears that the following was changed:

ALL php-fpm user files have characters in them like:  [꣫end%] instead of [username] it looks like the template files have errors in them which caused the change.

All my webserver configurations were rebuilt including ones that were customized.

Folks, we cannot willy nilly change out configuration files. This is still causing me hours of downtime and rebuilding from scratch. There is no good reason to do this without proper warning and testing

Having massive issues here too. Did something with the SSL and I can't find the issue.
Anyone else seeing this?

Check your host files and see the 2 topics below. My vhosts are being over written every night for the past 2 nights. could be bandwidth bug or whatever is described.

With the recent nightly automatic update, it seems like the CWP web service has bound to port 443 instead of its custom SSL port, which is causing the normal Apache web service to fail when it attempts to bind to it as well?

[~]$ netstat -tulpn | grep :443

To get my sites back up and running I had to comment out all of the lines in /usr/local/apache/conf.d/ssl.conf

Definitely not a long term solution for people who need SSL from Apache.

Hopefully the CWP folks can figure out a permanent fix!

As reported by CWP team, the solutions is just:
Code: [Select]
rm -f /usr/local/cwp/users/suspended/*.bandwidth
/scripts/cwp_api webservers rebuild_all

The first command remove all bandwidth limits from your sites, and the second rebuil all sites configurations of your webservers.

Netino

i can't update cwp pro due to problem.
[root@******~]# /scripts/update_cwp
Could not open input file: /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/include/cron.php

not working.

Try first the following command, to update Ioncube loader:
Code: [Select]
# /scripts/update_ioncube

After that, try the command:
Code: [Select]
/scripts/update_cwp

Hi,

we have the same issue here, every conf file were built again overwritting the ones that we had changed, this cause downtime in our servers, and we need to act every day. The problem is that this issue is happening every night at 3 AM.

Every time this process change domain .conf files and templates files, changing

Our config
<VirtualHost *:80>

To
<VirtualHost IP:80>

Thanks

No error messages?
I can't guess what happen in your server without error messages.

Any error log messages?

After /scripts/update_cwp' command, you *must* to run:
Code: [Select]
rm -f /usr/local/cwp/users/suspended/*.bandwidth
/scripts/cwp_api webservers rebuild_all
