suPHP disappears after Apache rebuild

After rebuilding Apache suPHP appears to have disappeared The web server fails to start with error cannot load mod_suPHP (no such file or directory) I checked the file it's trying to load and it does not exist I don't know what to do now.

yum install cwp-suphp

That fixed the missing file but it's still not running .php files
