How to protect my files against download
« on: February 12, 2023, 03:08:41 PM »
Hi guys, I just noticed through the Chrome browser anyone using developer tools can download any data from my server, images, HTML code, and javascript code.
If anyone can help me regard this, thanks in advance.

content on web is open to all, so there is no way to prevent downloading that kind of stuff

you can add some scripts, for example to disable right click or something like that, but anyone with simple knowledge od console can download anything from your website

curl and wget can get a lot, and many offline web readers can suck down a whole site and localize the HTML. So not much you can do about it.

freepik.com or shuttershock are the most bigger company that have premium image. even they cannot block something like you want....

the logic are
the big company cannot prevent that... if anyone here can... then that man will be billion dollar man of the year
