Thunderbird problem
« on: February 12, 2023, 11:19:00 PM »
Every once in a while my thunderbird client will stop sending copies of sent mail and throw me an error about server Bug.  This is maddening and is intermittent and effects only certain email accounts.  The only way to fix it is to delete the email account from cwp panel and create a new one.  But if I do that, I lose all of my saved emails.  This sux.

Funny thing is that I've seen countless T-Bird IMAP bugs over the years. And yet, Postbox (a commercial Thunderbird derivative, still using the T-Bird mail engine) seems to have fixed those IMAP errors! I never encounter any when I use Postbox, and having bought a lifetime license years ago, I get all updates that have been released. It offers a lot more spit-n-polish than the default T-bird experience.

Have you checked if you are asked to accept the SSL certificate?
What server do you have set in the smtp and pop?
I configure the accounts with the name of the main domain where CWP is installed.
If I use their domains with my clients, both Outlook and Thunderbird give me problems.
