Russian spam mail

Hi everyone

I have CW7pro

I receive since 3 days now through my e-commerce mail contact pages more and more russian SPAM's.

How to block these emails. I have never had the problem before.

All emails have @mail.ru extension

The best option is to secure the form (CAPTCHA) , you could also restrict countries in css.conf but this may cause you to lose legitimate messages and run your cpu up a bit

Thank you for your reply, isn't there a way just to refuse incoming mail from @mail.ru through cwp7 or throu the centos server.

When I get retired I will have time to learn deeply email and spam bacl the mail.ru domain. I am sick and tired of those people spamming.

Don't they have another life ??? it's in russian !!! why spamming worldwide in Russian.

check the headers of those emails, whether they really originate from mail.ru or just pretend to. The domain itself does not appear in any of the major spam blacklists and has SPF/DMARC implemented.

How did you set your mail server up are you using amavis and spamassassin you can filter for and reject that domain but i think n8v8r
is correct make sure thats infact the domain the mails coming from
