2FA with Google Authenticator
« on: August 12, 2020, 11:20:02 PM »
Hi everyone.

Thanks for the active development and supportive community.

The topic of Two Factor Authentication comes up every now and then.

I just wanted to bring it up again to see if it could be pushed towards to top of the to-do list.

I hardly have to repeat that the environment is more hostile than a year (or two) ago, and that 2FA is quickly becoming a minimum standard when it comes to protecting Internet-facing assets.

Thanks for giving it some thought.  I hope it isn't too complicated to implement and it may be slipped into the roadmap for delivery sometime this year.

Soon means less than 10 years?

Why are you trolling? Why not do something useful for the community like contributing code, documentation, or mutual support for other users. That's far more useful than criticizing in a vacuum. CWPs problems are obvious and well publicized, but the developers do a lot on limited resources and produce a useful tool that works for my use case and provides my end users with an effective management tool at a far more reasonable price than the *BIG* bloated controlPanel.
