Hi,

I'm very new to CWP and have one (CWP7Pro) installed on CentOS 7 with NGINX.
I had bad experience with cPanel/WHM in the past overriding Apache configs if there were any auto updates to it.

Will CWP override any of the nginx configs under any circumstances? (besides manually rebuilding stuff).

And, is there any way to disable auto updates? I can't find any update related menu in it yet.

Thanks!
Mark

Yes.  It will override any custom configurations if you rebuild the vhosts.  However, you can create your own template that will not be overridden.

override are based on template in use it is recommended to create custom template for your website and use it, in this way it will not overridden.

I can't rebuild vhosts as I am getting:

Notice: Undefined index: apache_template-type-default in /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/modules/WebServers_conf.php on line 0

The vhosts configs are getting updated with default template no matter what template I select. I tried force-https-http2 and others but no bueno.

Check WebServer Settings -> Webservers Main Conf to see if there is a default template set that does not exist.

I can't rebuild vhosts as I am getting:

Notice: Undefined index: apache_template-type-default in /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/resources/admin/modules/WebServers_conf.php on line 0

I get the same problem. Basically the Webservers Main Conf is useless and applies the default template to everything no matter what I select on the Webservers Main Conf page.

The only way to apply my own templates is by changing them individually by domain under Webservers Domain Conf. That works, but needs to be applied manually as the Main Conf won't let me change the default due to the Undefined index error above.

Please help!
I am using only NGINX
