Hi,

It is strange (at least for me) what happens to me. I did installation under centos 7 and cwp for centos 7, all correct.

I have done the same but, centos 8 (and cwp for centos 8), after configuring everything, maybe I missed something, I don't know, but the site cannot be accessed.
When I try to access, it tells me this message:

The request URL (mydomain.com) and / or (mydomain.com/folder) was not found on this server

I have set permissions for my domain user, it has not solved anything.

Webserver - Domain Conf, selected for my domain.

Nothing solves.

I have accessed via ftp, the only "strange" thing I see are the properties of the public_html folder, user 1000 group 65534.

I should point out that it was an import from a cPanel account (but I also did it like this in centos 7 with cwp for centos 7 and it worked fine).

Can you think of something?

Thanks in advance.

No idea?

I ask like this a bit fast because I canceled the cpanel license of this server and it ends in about 4 days ...

Thank you!

the best would be to try rebuilding webservers from cwp and fix account permissions also from cwp for that account and if that doesn't work then try checking with cwp support.

http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/apache/apache-failed-to-restart-after-recompilation/

But I can solved with the solution on same thread.

I think I need contact with cwp support.

Confirmed, there is a some bug in cwp 8 with centos 8.
Yesterday, in another VPS, centos 8 (enterprise) I install cwp 8, in this case, not restore account from cpanel, I was create a new account, upload files, database...and the same problem, exactly the same problem...

I try with another vps, in this , centos 7, same problem....  ???

I restore account from cpanel account, this name account have 9 letters, but import with this name, its possible this is the issue?

I don't understand what happends, I dont understand....

Edit: If I type my domain without www (or only domain with not /forum after the domain) appears a HTTP Test Page of CWP, indicate HTTP server installed at this site is working properly.

and:

Code: [Select]
If you are the website administrator:
You may now add content to the directory /home/USERNAME/public_html. Note that until you do so, people visiting your website will see this page and not your content. To prevent this page from ever being used, delete index.html in /public_html.

You are free to use the images below on Linux powered HTTP servers. Thanks for using CentOS-WebPanel!

I have a content in my public_html... is like not point/work my public_html folder...

I also observe that, when importing from cpanel, the email accounts, although they are imported in VAR / VMAIL, do not appear in CWP.
That is the least of the problems, but with Apache ... I only got an installation that worked, and on that occasion, if the email accounts appeared (all this I do I do it on the same cpmove file in cpanel) and in that time Apache worked. I formatted, installed again and have never gotten it to work anymore.

I'm already a bit desperate, in 2 days my cpanel licenses expire and if I don't fix it, I'll have to renew ...

I rebuild Apache, and now, the error is this:

Quote
[root@server3 ~]# systemctl status httpd.service

Yes, I think so, I've been sleeping for a few days because of this ...
But it surprises me so much that, the first time, it was without any problem, both the import of the account and Apache, like the emails ... everything ...
I have repeated the process and I do not remember how many times, no more have mails accounts restored, apache worked ...

I've been in CWP for a few days, I've gone to look at the CWP support section, if it's not too much trouble, could you tell me how to proceed with a query of this type?
I have seen that there is a support (I have not paid CWP license yet) and in that case it is paid, is it correct or is there a link that I have not seen?

Thanks and best regards.

I can not believe it!!!

To hit my head against the wall several blows ...

I have my site / domain behind cloudflare, I can't install SSL with AutoSSL no certificate because it tells me that the domain's dns do not point to my CWP server (they point to cloudflare).

Well, I have changed SSL to Flexibe in cloudflare and the issue is solved ...

Whatever I say, to hit the wall several times ...

Now to investigate how I generate an SSL for my domain and be able to put it in cloudflare as "Complete".
