is the php.ini not work for cwpfree/almalinux 8 ?

I know on CWPpro on AlmaLinux 8.6 it works fine.
PHP Version Switcher only works under the Free version.

Does your /usr/local/php/php.ini show anything?

You can also access it under PHP Settings -> PHP.ini Configuration
The PHP Simple Editor is under that same menu (PHP Settings)

What do you get from a command line when you run php -v?
