SSL / SSL for an IP
« on: June 05, 2026, 03:20:15 PM »
I was having problem setting up Shoutcast with AutoDJ on CWP. AutoDJ just won't install. It used to work for many years. Reinstalled the OS and tried so many times and gave up.
Figured out a way to install Shoutcast on its own with AutoDJ without CWP and it is working great. Then installed CWP and got the SSL for domain and now shoutcast stream work great with SSL.
Problem: Shoutcast directory lists only IP and I was able to get a Letsencrypt SSL for IP using certbot. But CWP doesn't do that. And certbot may break the acme.sh in CWP if installed on the server.
So, is there a way to get a SSL cert for IP for the server running CWP?
Thanks

Hello SHOUTcast Guru
No, I haven't figure that out yet.
I am testing Shoutcast on CWP 9. Shoutcast server installs but not the AutoDJ (liquidsound).
I can install Liquidsound manually but couldn't get them to work together.
Just waiting for the updates.
I ran the radios on Centova on CPanel since 2012 but cost was too high. Switched to CWP couple of years back.
Indeed, CWP need to advertise the capabilities of CWP for streaming.
I will try out the RadioDJ.
Thanks

No go at all.
Is there a way to manually delete the certs from CLI?
That is the only option left.

SSL / Re: Domain works on SSL but not the ports
« on: July 13, 2024, 02:58:48 AM »
Hi
Ran that command, but didn't help.
I can't figure out any error in the logs. Is it OK to attach the logs to this message?
I just can't connect to CWP Webpanel and user panel.
Public IP and ports are open 80, 443, 8181, 8443. Running Apache and Nginx.
As soon as I issued the Letsencrypt certs, I lost control the access to CWP panel.
https://dnsvj.com (Works fine)
https://dnsvj.com:9090 (error)
https://dnsvj.com:2087 (Has different error)
Above domain has SSL installed and server hostname is rocks.dnsvj.com
Another domain I don't have the SSL installed
http://punjabrocks.com:9988 (Shoutcast stream works fine)
http://punjabrocks.com:2087 ( No go, same error dnsvj.com)
This domain is not using SSL and shoutcast streams won't work on https
All certs were created using AutoSSL in the panel.
Really appreciate #Starburst looking into this..

Wait!
I ran that command, but still, how do I access my CWP panel?
How do I reissue certs from CLI?
Thanks :'(
