Installation / PHP is not installed

I installed CWP7 on Almalinux 9. After logging into CWP7, I found that PHP Version Switcher, PHP Selector 2, and PHP-FPM Selector all couldn't select a PHP version. Clicking on the manage option gave a blank. I reinstalled it once and saw the following error, but the next step of the installation completed, and I didn't see the PHP installation process.

Mod_Security / 403 Error

I installed Mod Security with OWASP rules, but when I access the website, it shows a 403 error. I followed the official CWP7 guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pll0GUpSJ_Y, but I could not find my IP in the log. Why is this happening, and how can I fix the 403 error?

CSF Firewall / Cannot enable Firewall

I ran [root@server ~]# csf -e
and it shows the following error
Error* The path to iptables is either not set or incorrect for IPTABLES [/sbin/iptables] in /etc/csf/csf.conf at /usr/local/csf/lib/ConfigServer/URLGet.pm line 39.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/sbin/csf line 34.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sbin/csf line 34.
How should I fix it?
and it shows the following error

Apache / Apache automatic shutdown
« on: November 26, 2025, 01:36:59 AM »My VPS is running on CWP 0.9.8 and AlmaLinux 9.5. It has been running for several months, and everything was working fine before, but now Apache often stops automatically. When Apache stops automatically, I see the following entries in the error log

However, this feature does not trigger automatically.

I want to do a fresh install of CWP, but I haven't decided between AlmaLinux 8 and AlmaLinux 9 yet.
I want to know what the default MariaDB version is for AlmaLinux 8. I need a MariaDB version above 10.5.
Also, I noticed that CWP based on AlmaLinux 9 is missing some features. Which features are those?
Additionally, I noticed that the installation page indicates “EL9 is in beta stage.” Is it suitable for use in a production environment?

Apache / How to stop malicious scans

When I checked the Apache access logs (/usr/local/apache/logs/access_log), I found that there were a lot of malicious scans, and their IP addresses were changed frequently as if they were not well monitored.
The files it scans are non-existent
How can I block these accesses?

CentOS 9 Problems / Can not log in control panel

I purchased a VPS in linode.com today with CentOS Stream 9 (Linode currently only provides CentOS Stream 9).
After installing CWP7 and adding a domain, I found that logging into this domain's control panel failed (https://*****:2083), but I could log in to FTP with the same user and password.
Also, in the WebServer Settings ->SSL Certificate, I found that the Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate was not generated for the domain.
Based on previous experience, Let's Encrypt certificates should be automatically generated.
How can I fix these problems?

Apache / Could not create directory

My VPS running on CWPpro version: 0.9.8.1187
I want to upgrade the plugin for WordPress, but after clicking upgrade I get the following error
Update failed: Could not create directory. /home/*/public_html/wp-content/upgrade/classic-editor.1.6.5
I checked the permissions on the /upgrade/ directory and it is 755, which should be fine!
In addition, before, I could upgrade the plugin normally, but recently I suddenly got such an error.
I checked the site's error logs again and found a number of error records as follows

SSL / Invalid SSL certificate for subdomain

I added a subdomain on CWP7, and then added an SSL certificate for this subdomain. It uses the same SSL certificate as the main domain. This subdomain also points to /home/domain/public_html which points to the same directory as the main domain.
Then add an A record for this subdomain in Cloudflare.
But when accessing this subdomain, Cloudflare prompts “Error 526， Invalid SSL certificate, Host Error” on the browser
I want to know how to fix it?

Apache / certificate does NOT include an ID which matches the server name

I use Nginx & Apache, now there is a strange problem, the website is frequently inaccessible, Chrome shows ERR_CONNECTION_RESET, I checked the error log, it shows as follows, how can I fix it?
I've tried rebuilding the server, and reinstalling SSL, but it doesn't solve the problem. I also tested the SSL certificate using the tool and the key and certificate match.

I've tried rebuilding the server, and reinstalling SSL, but it doesn't solve the problem. I also tested the SSL certificate using the tool and the key and certificate match.
