SSL / Trying to force SSL renew but not working
« on: May 31, 2017, 02:35:11 PM »
Hi All,
I am trying to force a renew for a SSL that was installed via the SSL Cert Manager using the Auto button. It installed and functions fine however I can't seem to get it to renew. Have tried on 2 different servers one with CWP6 & another with CWP7 using different domains but same result.
Using
I still have some time before 60 days is up but wanted to ensure that the renew was working. Any thoughts/ideas are welcome.

Addons / How to auto load cloudflare_mod?
« on: May 11, 2017, 01:59:06 PM »
Hi, I use cloudflare_mod with CWP7 to pass the real IP of visitors as I use them for DNS. Works great though I have to re run the script after most CWP updates to reinitialize the module (it's still installed).
Anyone have an idea how to configure CWP to auto load cloudflare_mod after an update?

CentOS 7 Problems / Just moved to CWP7 - couple issues
« on: February 19, 2017, 02:05:26 PM »
Hi All,
Just installed CWP/CentOS 7 on a fresh VPS server, switch to PHP 7.1.2. I transferred 2 sites, 1x static and 1x eCommerce (both WordPress & using Letsencrypt SSL). They look good and performance is snappy but have encountered 2 issues.
When I rebuild Postfix mail server I get the following error (interesting as emails still work)
Configuring...
Something wrong in Postfix, check log files please...
When I click Advanced File Manager I receive the following error - The file /usr/local/cwpsrv/htdocs/admin/admin/fileManager2.php is corrupted.
If there's an easy fix or something I'm missing please let me know otherwise I hope this helps it's development.

Updates / Wordpress/WooCommerce recommending SQL 5.6
« on: June 22, 2016, 04:11:36 PM »
Hi All,
I just updated my WordPress site to WooCommerce 2.6.1 and it is now recommending an update to at least SQL 5.6 (currently 5.1). I run a standard CentOS/CWP set up with Nginx & Varnish & running PHP 5.6 on a small VPS.
Should I be thinking about upgrading to SQL 5.6? Does CWP work with SQL 5.6 and is there a trusted step by step guide?
I found this link in the forums which seems easy, maybe too easy I thought. https://blog.bullten.com/upgrading-mysql-to-5-5-in-centos-web-panel-cwp/ I need easy steps as my talents are in webdesign not server admin.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

SSL / If i force SSL across my domain will I loose the benefits of Varnish/Nginx?
« on: May 05, 2016, 07:52:01 AM »
Hi, I have SSL's installed on my wordpress sites but only use https on the business pages (Account page & Checkout etc). I also make use of the default Varnish + Nginx reverse proxy setup doing its wonderful work with delivering web content in a speedy fashion.
If I force SLL across all my sites pages (I'm hearing this can help your google rank) will I loose the performance benefits of the Varnish + Nginx reverse proxy setup and if so is there a work around?
PS New to CWP and loving it btw
