Information / Re: Which is the best billing software to be used with CWP?
« on: August 19, 2020, 08:50:35 PM »CWP uses WHMCS, but your billing system should not depends a control panel.
Use the system you like more.
First you have to install WHMCS follownig their simple install guide.
After you have it up and running, then follow the guide how to install the CWP Module into WHMCS.
Or is you have Softlacous installed, they have WHMCS there to install also, then again just install the CWP Module afterwards.

Information / Re: CentOS 8 Support - When or Never???
« on: August 09, 2020, 11:54:58 AM »
It would be nice to hear from @Sandeep real quick.
I brought up a test server, and followed some of the directions out there to upgrade from CentOS 7 to 8, and it failed. Miserably...
Hopefully they will have it released before the end of the year.

Information / CentOS 8 Support - When or Never???
« on: August 07, 2020, 07:33:30 PM »
CentOS 7 stops Full updates Q4 2020, which starts next month.
cPanel and Plesk both are supporting CentOS 8 now since all required packages are available.
Even ISPConfig 3.2 is going to have CentOS 8 support.
When is CWP going to follow suit, and support CentOS 8?
Or is CWP development dead?

DKIM / Re: 2048-bit DKIM
« on: August 02, 2020, 06:10:36 PM »I've been trying to do this, but if success fails, did you accomplish something? Apparently Gmail and Hotmail are demanding it or sending you to SPAM
I got it to work using the 3rd party generator.
Then I just copied the keys to the CWP file folders overwriting CWP's and updating the DNS key.

RedHat announced all the packages are now available for CentOS 8 awhile ago.
Agreed Full Updates end Q4 2020
Maintenance Updates end June 30th, 2024
Would make sense any new server brought up would be CentOS 8, and not 7.

I know this has been mentioned before.
But now that Red Hat announced CentOS 8.2.2004 as the currently supported version of CentOS from RedHat 8.4, does CWP have an estimated date?

SSL / Hostname SSL won't update
« on: June 13, 2020, 12:09:49 AM »
Just did a new install of CWP, and I know the trick where to change the hostname to update the SSL, but for some reason it is not changing.
It's still the self signed SSL that gives an error.
Need to get this server up & running.
Any suggestions.
CentOS Linux release 7.8.2003 (Core)
CWP version: 0.9.8.986 - Have not registered as Pro yet.

SSL / Re: Want to install Wildcard SSL in CWP
« on: April 24, 2020, 09:51:01 PM »Any update on the implementation of this feature?
Having access to a 'Lets Encrypt wildcard SSL' would make a heap of difference w.r.t. virtual hosts mail servers.
+1 this feature request
That's why I'm looking for a Wildcard also. Would be great to have, so customer didn't get an error when setting up email accounts.

Apache / Apache doesn't seem to be updating
« on: April 07, 2020, 11:36:18 PM »
In CWP 7 is seems like Apache is stuck on version 2.4.39, currently as of this post Apache is at 2.4.43, which also supports TLS 1.3.
Just running yum isn't doing any update.
Or if CWP running a modified Apache?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

SSL / Re: CWP support for TLSv1.3
« on: February 27, 2020, 06:03:57 PM »
Any updates to the TLS v1.3 support?
I just manually enabled TLS v1.2 and disabled 1.0 & 1.1, since they are depreciated already.
