CentOS 7 Problems / Re: cpanel is not working after CWP migration
« on: November 01, 2022, 02:28:45 PM »
The issue is the same as this one --> https://forum.centos-webpanel.com/index.php?topic=8950.0

I tested the script provided by rcschaff here --> http://forum.centos-webpanel.com/index.php?topic=8980.0

After some hours searching and testing and reviewing the logs the solution was much much easier and provide it here to save some people from headaches  :)

If after an upgrade or migration you are unable to use user panel and getting the HTTP 500 error then follow the next steps to fix the issue.
1. Login to your panel
2. Select User Accounts --> Features,Themes,Languages
3. Select everything to the tab "Themes"
4. Hit the button "Save Theme Default"
5. Change if again to your theme or just leave it as it is
6. Enjoy the magic :) and do not forget to leave a thumb up as no script was used finally!

Tested the above script as i am unable to use cpanel.domain and get 500 error page, but no luck.
The error from CWP logs is

CentOS 7 Problems / cpanel is not working after CWP migration
« on: November 01, 2022, 12:03:48 PM »
I finished the migration normally for all my accounts.
I rebuild the vhosts for all my domains.
The problem is that after a total renovation of all the SSL certificates even though the webmail, mail, and ftp works normally the cpanel shows a  HTTP ERROR 500.
I tried to disable firewall, modescurity and remove the SSL for some of the accounts to test but again the problem is there.
Even a reboot did not fix the issue.
If i ping to cpanel.domain i get normally response but the panel won't open.
I tried to repair the user permission but again no luck.
Does anyone has any idea why that happened? I never had such and issue before.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: CWP to CWP mailbox migration issue
« on: October 28, 2022, 03:22:07 PM »
Thank you PakPos :)

According the above issue using the CWP to CWP migration the problem appears when the owner of the account uses an older appearance of the roundcube.
All the users that where using the new white style had no issues.

About the contacts the solution was to export  contacts from each mailbox and insert to other as those seems like they are not migrated.
On the other hand PakPos solution is working for sure :).

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / CWP to CWP mailbox migration issue
« on: October 17, 2022, 08:06:59 AM »
Hello

I migrated some accounts from one server to another but even if the mailbox was transferred and everything worked normally there is a critical issue.
1. The mailbox folders from the accounts are not recreated.
2. At the same time the contacts of all the mailboxes are lost and not migrated.

I tried to delete the migration and started again but i just had the same result.

E-Mail / Re: Erro SMTP (450)
« on: July 27, 2022, 08:27:24 AM »
I see the following error

Quote
smtp 450 failed to add recipient 4.7.1
even though the following parameter is disabled and not used

Code: [Select]
reject_unknown_helo_hostname

The problem appears even when i try to add recipients from the same hosted domains in the server.

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: Disk Quota
« on: June 16, 2022, 09:38:42 AM »
CWP7 is a great project and i keep support it for flexible management of hosting.
Shoutcast and icecast is something that took me a lot of time to combine with CWP7 and found out that i had to sacrifice recourses for something that is not the scope and aim of CWP7. Streaming is something that can be dealed easily with the ready to use and free azurecast project.

The management of quota for the mail accounts is a CWP7 critical issue and should be number 1 in the list for bug fixing.
The second issue should be cronjob management as that is not working for user panels and admin has to add a cron as root.

Will there be any solution yet about this issue?
Is it possible to arrange the mailboxes according the hosting packages?
Will that be fixed so that mailboxes from a particular account is assosiated and located to /home/user/mailboxes folder so that it is controlled by the disk quota package?

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Re: Shoutcast Won't connect
« on: May 25, 2022, 07:55:42 AM »
Yes that is exactly what is happening.
If i have to connect i have to kick or stop autodj stream and then connect with vdj or other software.
After many tests i noticed that to be able to connect i had to use option "session name : /stream" from vdj to connect successfully.

Thank you for your useful information.

If i try to start a second server to the same account and to diferrent ports everything gets messy.
Testing 3 different servers to the same account and setting up autodj even if i see the servers are up and running none of them work and http://serverip:port drops error "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED".

I guess spend enough time with something that should be working in seconds.
I just need a confirmation that this is experimental and not working or at list a hint in case i am missing something.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Shoutcast Won't connect
« on: May 24, 2022, 09:58:13 AM »
Hello

I have tested the new shoutcast plugin and works with autodj.
The problems are the following:

- If i try to connect with virtual dj when Autodj is playing i see the error "Stream in use"
- If i stop manually the autodj service and try to connect i see the error "Error.Disconected. Reconecting..."

Tested with Radio Caster and again i can't connect showing only status "connecting..."
I started 3 different servers and tested with same results.
I totally disabled firewall to be sure that it will not interfere even if i have opened the necessary ports and again i just can't use it.

Is there something i am missing?
Can someone test and confirm that server connection is not possible?

Updates / Re: Problems with update 0.9.8.1136
« on: May 22, 2022, 05:57:00 PM »
Thank you for reverting and removing the php-fpm monitor for the moment with the latest 0.9.8.1139 update.
That really boost all my servers working normal again. There is a huge difference in CPU usage.

Code: [Select]
PID USER      PR  NI    VIRT    RES    SHR S  %CPU %MEM     TIME+ COMMAND
19889 root      20   0  120280  17652  10432 S   6.2  0.2   0:02.49 php-fpm
    1 root      20   0  191016   5180   3776 S   0.0  0.1   0:19.35 systemd

Updates / Re: Problems with update 0.9.8.1136
« on: May 20, 2022, 05:12:09 PM »
We all can confirm that the latest update is causing a huge overload and that started from 0.9.8.1136.
The latest release did not solve the problem. This kind of problem is causing a lot of complaints and the serious webserver mufunctions as all of the websites and eshops suddenly becomes extremely slow.

My question is why don't we have a revert to 0.9.8.11.35 that gives life and let all the server administrators relax and breath till the latest updates get fixed and tested?

My other question is why only the administrators that uses CWP7 Pro are having to deal with that problem and no solution yet?

Hello evrybody

The results after latest version 0.9.9.1138 seems to be the same using the CWP7 panel. Using console there is no CPU spikes.

Code: [Select]
PID USER      PR  NI    VIRT    RES    SHR S  %CPU %MEM     TIME+ COMMAND
    1 root      20   0  192032   6204   3872 R  50.0  0.1   5:30.68 systemd
15782 root      20   0  221920  15256   8432 S  31.2  0.2   0:01.47 php-fpm
15786 root      20   0  221920  15260   8436 S  25.0  0.2   0:01.87 php-fpm
15780 root      20   0  221920  15256   8432 S  12.5  0.2   0:02.10 php-fpm

« on: May 18, 2022, 07:11:13 PM »
The .1137 upgrade solved my issues on the php-fpm pages. Thanks! I see the CPU spikes, though, when viewing the dashboard. If I close all logged in clients and use ssh to monitor my server, my usage returns to normal. As soon as I open a dashboard view it spikes back up.

In my case, the high CPU appears to be triggered by a dynamic refresh process on the dashboard page. Perhaps it is querying too often, maybe related to the php-fpm controls, as I notice php-fpm processes running higher cpu while on the dashboard, as well as systemd.

Until resolved, I'm keeping the dashboard closed.

Yes that is correct  brianjd and that is the point.
The problem apears when using the panel. Command top through console seems to be normal.
