Anyone tried migrating sites from cPanel that uses JetBackup to CWP using the built-in tool?

Installation / Re: AlmaLinux
« on: September 02, 2021, 02:46:23 AM »hi
CentosWP work in AlmaLinux 8? Ubuntu? FreeBSD?
We finished migrating over a few weeks ago. All of our servers are running on AlmaLinux 8.4 now.
Only problem is, if you are using Stream you can not migrate. As Stream is a pre-release version now. :/
You can only migrate if you are running CentOS 8.3 or 8.4

DNS Manager / Re: Update to support PHP 7.4 or 8.0.x
« on: August 24, 2021, 12:30:19 AM »
So there is a new Slave DNS Server & Manager - DNS Cluster in the work that uses something newer than 5.6.x?
We will be able to upgrade the script, or will we have to wipe everything out and start over?
Is there an ETA yet?

DNS Manager / Update to support PHP 7.4 or 8.0.x
« on: August 23, 2021, 04:53:41 PM »
Is there an update to DNS Manage that cane run on PHP 7.4 or 8.0 yet?
I know the current version will only run under PHP 5.6.x, which is a large security problem.
Thanks

Installation / Re: Suggestion to CWP
« on: August 17, 2021, 05:36:02 AM »
cPanel does list Ubuntu, but not Debian. And knowing cPanel, it might hecup.
But I don't know. We have 1 Debian server, as we try to keep everything uniform using RH compatible distros.
It also lists AlmaLinux and CloudLinux.
We have switched all of out CWP servers over to AlmaLinux, and all is working fine.

Varnish / Re: Update Varnish v5.2.1 to the latest Varnish v6.3.1 for CWP and CWP PRO !
« on: July 06, 2021, 08:56:09 PM »
Varnish 6.6 has been out for 4 months now.
I'm just curious how you can override the os= to say centos for the rebuild script for doing Nginx & Varnish & Apache rebuild.
Currently this is on an AlmaLinux box, and of course sending that OS name stops everything currently.
Thanks.

CentOS 7 Problems / Re: Help: Unable to recieve emails but can send out from a new created email accont

If it's a new server and nothing is on it, you might want to consider starting from scratch.
Make sure you hostname has a valid A record and rDNS.
As well as the domain has a valid MX and A records, like Igor suggested.

Is opcache.fast_shutdown=0 uncommented in the php.ini?
Be default it is commented out.
Also check out:

Other than that I'm out of ideas.

Are you using WordPress?
If so, make sure you are running only 1 version of PHP-FPM.
Also in your php.ini, make sure opcache.fast_shutdown=0 is not commented out. By Default it is.

Are you using Apache only or Nginx, or a combo?
If Apache only, 503 error usually means you did not setup proxy app correctly. What is output of
cat /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log | grep :error
Do you have any users that you didn't apply this configuration to?
Are those sites working OK?

When using cloudflare setup is different, they also have data cached for faster responses.
"If it is something that I have never touched or do not know or similar, it is not difficult for me to indicate that it access CWP but it was so strange that ... either there was a bug or I had to fix it (I like to see the problem and solve it). Be careful, in a "patch" mode I had fixed it, but it was not the best option nor did I like it, having the possibility of SAN .."
CWP doesn't have a "patch mode", so I'm confused what you are talking about with that.
Or that you didn't like the possibility of a SAN.
You need the mail SAN so the mail client will not show an error.
That whole statement doesn't make sense.
It sounds like you might want to go back to the end user friendly cPanel or hire an experienced sys admin to handle your VPS in the future.
