Let us know.

I'm testing on AL 8.9 with CWPpro 0.9.8.1174

Installation / Re: Can't install PHP 3.1

When I first saw PHP 3.1, and was  :o

@overseers is correct.
ionCube doesn't support PHP 8.3.x, and there seems to be a bug with mbstring.

If you build PHP-FPM 8.3.x without those 2 options you will be good to go.

IF you need the mbstring option for something, then you will have to stay with 8.2.x temporarily.

Weird. I can't duplicate what you are seeing, and I'm accessing the server from a Whitelisted IP.
When I try those URL's using our domain, I get 404 Not Found errors or Forbidden.

BTW, https://webmail.domain.com//logs/errors.log
Has 2 // after the domain name. I know it's just a type-o.

But by default those are not accessible, at least not on a AlmaLinux 8.x install with CWPpro.

That link from AlphaGNU is about as 'official' as it gets.
It's not a patch that will get broken. I've gone thru multiple CWP updates, and it's still working.

I'm running RoundCube 1.5.6 using that method on AlmaLinux 8.x, and you can see my questions if you scroll down on that page about 1.6.x.

I think @overseer is as well, but he'll have to chime in to say if he is or not.

Check out:
https://www.alphagnu.com/topic/33-update-cwp-roundcube-mail-version-156-%E2%80%93-control-web-panel/

That will get you RoundCube 1.5.6

And check out ELevate, that will get you away from the EOL CentOS 7.

456
CentOS is EOL. Allot of libraries have gone or are going offline.

All new servers should be using AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux 8.x

You can only forward NAT to one IP, not 2 at the same time.

There is no step by step guide, this is basic knowledge for any sys admin or network admin.
Sounds like you might need to hire one, or have a managed server or VPS.

You can setup network IP's using nmtui.
https://www.tecmint.com/nmtui-configure-network-connection/

But Again, you can't use NAT to point ports to 2 different IP's at the same time.

CSF Firewall / Re: Release firewall by domain

With 100 customers, that would defiantly justify setting up a VPN for them.

It's easy enough with AL 9 and OpenVPN.

CSF Firewall / Re: Release firewall by domain

Problem with whitelisting the IP's for say DynDNS. No-IP, etc. is opening the server up to attacks, since you can't control the access, and allot of script kiddies use those services as well.
Just like the TOR Exits.

Then you will have to setup a VPN server for them to connect thru, and whitelist the IP from that server.

Or they will have to get a static IP from their ISP.

PHP / Re: php-fpm83 not installing well / working

@Dutch_Mike

Thanks to Sandeep.

There is a work around until the next release, to build without the mbstring option.

Tested it with PHP-FPM 8.3.1, and it compiled OK without the ioncube & mbstring options, and is running.

Of course, if you need ionCube and/or mbstring, then you will have to use PHP-FPM 8.2.x

You can only whitelist IPv4 or IPv6 in CSF/LFD, not domain names.

Ask them for the IP they will be connecting from (hopefully static), and whitelist, and you should be good to go.
If they don't know, have them visit: https://whatismyipaddress.com/

CentOS-WebPanel GUI / Re: the memory is constantly busy...
« on: January 31, 2024, 11:04:26 PM »
I see in another thread - https://forum.centos-webpanel.com/index.php?topic=13340.msg46528;topicseen#msg46528

You are also having issue with ICU. They could be connected. (That whole PHP add-on looks like a headache to me personally.)
Since you also mentioned PHP 7.3.x

Is this on a dedicated box or a VPS?
Using Apache or Nginx?
OS Distro & Version?

The memory on my dedicated box for a micro mirror with 32GB seems to use more memory for some reason.

They are looking into it, so hopefully we will have a solution soon.

New PHP version are bound to have issues.

Most panels don't even have PHP 8.3 integrated yet.
Some just added 8.2 finally.

ionCube doesn't offer 8.3.x support yet either. So in turn developers can't offer it.

The instructions at AlphaGNU are for PHP-CGI if you really need to run 8.3.x on the whole system with ionCube.
