Maybe that's the problem.
Not using PHP-FPM, using PHP Selector for PHP-CGI.
But it a config option, so you would think it would work. :/

E-Mail / Re: Can't remove Roundcube instalation.
« on: December 01, 2024, 04:06:08 AM »
FYI - Roundcube is installed by CWP, so there is no need to install it via a 3rd party like Softaculous.
There is also an update procedure, you can find at:

@cyberspace
Tried what you listed, but when you do

Would really like to get this bug resolved once & for all.
Tried what you listed, but when you do
Code: [Select]
cd imagick*The server gives:Quote
-bash: cd: too many arguments
So I did:
Code: [Select]
cd imagick-3.7.0But there is no directory there called /opt/alt/phpXX/usr/bin/phpize
Quote
-bash: cd: /opt/alt/phpXX/usr/bin/phpize: No such file or directory
The pecl script when I try:
Code: [Select]
sudo pecl uninstall imagick && sudo pecl install imagickAsks for:Quote
Please provide the prefix of ImageMagick installation [autodetect] :I just hit Enter for autodetect, and it installs Imagick 3.7.0, but PHP still isn't seeing it.

Just as you can stop spamming the forums with an ad for your software.
Everyone can see your posts are just ads at this point.
If CWP goes down this road, they would have to support your software besides theirs, and I doubt that will ever happen.
Under EU laws, if they add your software, they have to add others, and then support them all.
Also if you integrate a security flaw into CWP because of a bug in yours, you become liable.
Why do you think control panels have 3rd party backup software built-in. But only available via 3rd party add-on modules.
You might want to look at:

Yea, you keep advertising for your product.
I would only recommend Real backup software that has a track record of working all the time like Acronis, iDrive, Bacula, and Borg.
Which is what you want in a backup system. Something that has a track record of working, and not failing when you need it the most.
All already have GUI interfaces to control them, and can be used cross platform, Linux, Windows, Mac.
The top 2 are Acronis and iDrive. Look at a majority of providers, and that's what is used & offered.

Almost at this point with your step-by-step advertising, I hope they don't include it.
Unless Jose will also support other backup programs like Acronis, iDrive, Bacula, etc. into CWP.
3rd party modules can be created, and added into CWP if you choose to take on the programming task.

PHP Selector / Re: Cannot update php version
« on: November 20, 2024, 07:02:49 PM »
CWP is alive & well.
The recommended OS now is AlmaLinux 8.
AlmaLinux 9 works as well with CWP, but only works with PHP 7.4.x and higher.

Problems on other RedHat linux servers / Re: I saw that AL 9 has missing features and *EL9 is in beta stage ???
« on: November 20, 2024, 06:56:56 PM »
No, I just ran the normal
That's usually what I do on all of them, just because it's personal preference.
DNF has the option to run automatically, and we have a few servers setup that way.
Same with freshclam, that service is set to automatic on all servers running email.
