Is the 1 update by chance MariaDB?  Because there is a huge difference in the minor upgrade, and they provide instructions on a "Manual Upgrade".  If it's not Maria, please cite what program refused to update.

All the servers are running the latest MariaDB 10.5.9

Here is the popup:


Click on the "here", and it opens up the YUM Manager, and shows No Updates:


I have just gotten use to ignoring and closing that popup every time I login, since it inaccurate/wrong.

Again this is on CentOS 8.3.2011 (which uses dnf as default, not yum), and has the latest CWPpro 0.9.8.1055

this was fixed long time ago.

Message saying there is 1 Yum update available still is popping up on my CentOS 8 box running 0.9.8.1055.
Just ignore it and close it every time I login.

what is the full error? check the /root/.acme.sh/acme.sh.log its not with nginx issue.

Gave an error on Line 551, which is /usr/local/apache/conf.d/

Attempted 2 times. Both failed.
Server is running Apache Only.

Also when the server was rebooted, it seemed like any service tied to openssl failed, SSH, web, etc.

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / Problem after update - Again

Just ran dnf update tonight, and another problem popped up.

The system only update OpenSSL from 1.1.1g-12 to 1.1.1g-15 and the mail system broke, Again.

System also can't generate any new SSL certificates via the control panel.

Which wouldn't be a problem, Except in troubleshooting and SSL certificate wads deleted as it was tried to be recreated, but can't.

This wasn't even a minor update, just a bugfix.

Agreed. DNSSEC is now Standard in every other CP out there.

When you type in the DNS server name, it should pull up the default webpage, which by default is that CWP page.
I just checked mine, and that is what it does.

All domain created in CWP are done under /home/username, so I'm puzzled how it's showing /

CWP automatically creates a DNS zone when you change your DNS's.
I would leave it alone.

Also you should not create the hostname as a website or subdomain to a website.
It should only exist as an A record in that domain names DNS for rDNS checks.

Just ran the update for dovecot 2.3.14-5 under CWPpro 0.9.8.1051 and no problems.

Wish I knew what they fixed.
But oh well, it's working. That's all that matters.

Hello,

What options have you considered now that Centos 8 won't be updated anymore and Centos 7 is in 2024.

Will you migrate to Debian? Or, what other options have you considered?

I ask because I just purchsed a second Pro license, but want to use it after I find out how you will proceed.

CloudLinux has released their CloudLinux 8, and CWP already works on this release.

But the whole right side of the new post list was filled with spam.

Dovecot Pigeonhole was a major update as well.

An acknowledgement from CWP would be nice at least to acknowledge the problem.

I tried a mailserver rebuild from within CWP and that didn't work. But that was under CWP 0.9.8.1048, and updates have come out since then.
Is this how you rebuilt your mail services?
Or was it a different way?
