Also a huge problem for me:

I am changing this file entry in /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf

 DirectoryIndex index.html.var index.htm index.html index.shtml index.xhtml index.wml index.perl index.pl index.plx index.ppl index.cgi index.jsp index.js index.jp index.php4 index.php3 index.php index.phtml default.htm default.html home.htm index.php5 Default.html Default.htm home.html

to:

DirectoryIndex index.php index.html.var index.htm index.html index.shtml index.xhtml index.wml index.perl index.pl index.plx index.ppl index.cgi index.jsp index.js index.jp index.php4 index.php3 index.phtml default.htm default.html home.htm index.php5 Default.html Default.htm home.htm

(changed the placement of index.php)

and then a systemctl restart httpd.service

However each time cwp pushes the httpd.conf version out this reverts and causes breakage again.

geez

I have made the changes to the httpd.conf file ... but now what is to stop and update like we took on 22Nov and blowing these DirectoryIndex changes away..?..

I am looking in the /usr/local/apache/conf/extra directory ... maybe it makes more sense to try an overide in one of the override files there? but then again references to these files have to be pounded in on the httpd.conf file.

Back to square one....

Same here ... interesting thing is that a partner is seeing different results accessing websites from a different location .... thank you for providing the workaround fix in the httpd.conf file ... that helped, but I am very concerned about unintended consequences.

Thanks again ... state of chaos here

On the apache re-build (mom-production site) I am getting this

"Error:Can't add notification!"

in the  /var/log/apache-rebuild.log file

Apache does not start up and is complaing about the Rewrite lines in the file /usr/local/apache/conf/sharedip.conf file

I could edit these conditions in the sharedip file, but I want to return attention back to the "Error:Can't add notification!"
message... hopefully a resolution to that will all apache to succesfully start..?..

CentOS-WebPanel Bugs / I do not want to install PHP-FPM !
« on: December 15, 2018, 12:11:59 PM »
I have tried several times/ways to not install PHP-FPM by selecting the "Skip" button in the lower right of the High Performace WebServers Configuration" display..

This leads to an endless loop realized in the "High Performace WebServers Configuration" display that I can't get out of.

Furthermore I can't perform functionality(ie yum update, cert management etc) as this display configuration display can't be bypassed. I need to update a SSL certificate via CWP and this is blocking that capability.

Have operational site going, been up 20 days short of a year.

I would like to update the the godaddy certificate ... is there an easy procedure to help out...?..I am simply unfamiliar with the process and probably shouldn't be this concerned...

Right now I believe that I must use ssl generator and create a new

1) key
2) csr

will this act cause any SSL downtime on the server, or is a apache restart required..?..will the good key and csr be saved somehow..?..

I would then submit the newly generated csr to godaddy for the crt and bundle...

Is there an easier procedure to do this update? looked on youtube and most videos listed there were for the first time install or lets encrypt discussion.

Minimizing downtime is of most importance...

Any help appreciated of course,

thanks - augold  :-*
