Change subdomain to domain

Hi all, i have a premium CWP version but my skilled co-worker is on a holiday

One of our customer rebuilded her website on her subdomain. v2.example.com. Now she want to see the subdomain as primary domain, how and what to change within CWP. For now I just did a redirect from primary domain to v2. subdomain.

Not sure if I just can rename the folder, but I just want to be sure before I change some settings.

i think you need to backup files and db, create new account, restore and attach db

So there is no easier way to promote/change the sub domain to primary. I thought renaming the folder from v2.example.com to example.com would be sufficient.
